This isn't the first time I've heard this, but about 2 yrs ago it sounded more like a rumor. This morning I was chatting with a local cop here over riding and the death of the M1 rider last night and his passenger's life threatening condition came up. The officer said that there will be a law...
Nice marketing pitch. Problem is exactly that, no reception in underground garages therefore this item won't work despite the "work anywhere on the planet" part .
Man, at 6'2 I can't imagine you ever being comfortable on that bike or any 600cc bike for that matter. Go sit on and test ride the gsxr 750, you will completely change your mind about what you want. I love my bike and at 6'0 I couldn't find a single 600cc bike comfortable to sit on.
Between last yr and this yr, I'd say a total of 3 months. So far just going out riding for recreation for 30-40 min, not commuting or anything - at least not yet. None of my fam or friends have a bike, where if they did I'm sure I'd enjoy it more giving me more riding time.
I got a quote for an old 748 Duc last yr. It was unbelievably similar to a gsxr 1000. Definetly get an affirmative insurance quote first, I think by then you wouldn't even consider it anymore.
I know what you mean by wanting more uMph* from the 250. I had a ninja 250 last yr and I copped...
I should update...
Things I'm doing differently with success:
-I'm looking ahead where I want to be, not where I think I may fall (DuH! Incredible difference)
-I lean the bike a bit (push steering) while keeping myself more upright without leaning with the bike
-My foot is barely on the...

On my Ninja 250 I put said I purchased it for $50
On my 2002 GSXR 750 I said I paid $80
Since the girl behind the counter was too friendly, I asked if they've had any...
I'm not entirely sure if it's related and what the proper recourse would be if it is, but ever since I kept going down practicing U-turns my brakes have been squeaking when applied prior to a stop.
Is it just coincidental or can squeaking be a result of dropping a bike?
I notice majority of folks around here use strictly their side-view and rearview mirrors when they're reversing for whatever reason. In nyc and for the majority part of the States we always place our right hand behind the passenger seat and turn our entire body when reversing - significantly...
2005 CBR 600rr $3500 obo - looks like a great buy if anyone's in the market

I can't imagine what response a wheelie would entice.
There's just no way for them to convict the actual rider of any wrong doing, even if they did catch him.
