I dont think they were saying its just as safe as a higher boot, but that they offer the same ankle protection.

If I do not plan on tracking with my bike, would the Hi-top sneaker style motorcycle boots suffice? Or is it better to go with the full boots? I currently ride a sport bike. Let me know what your thoughts are Thanks!
