Those are HRC colors for Asia, same as Repsol is for us. PS: Not liking the looks, if there really is no engine difference, I'll be buying leftover 2010/11 blade come december

Anyone else waiting for 2012 to buy a new bike?

If anything the price will go down for the outdated models, ie: the current fireblade. I'm hoping that once the new blade is announced to pick up current gen for around 9-9.5k from us. But as mentioned previously the wait is killing me, feels like a huge part of me is missing!

Anyone else waiting for 2012 to buy a new bike?

Sold my bike few month ago in anticipation of the revamped models of either 2012 cbr1000rr or the ducati 1198 (1199), the wait is killing me, almost pulled the trigger on a brand new 2010 CBR1000RR. Anyone else in the same boat?

    Noob Question about downshifting

You don't need to revmatch when your downshifting, all you have to do is pull in clutch, drop a gear, slowly release clutch (This is very important!)

Durham police report a rise in serious motorcycle collisions

I'd say that the weather has a huge impact, especially the extremely hot days, now wearing a lid on top and most of the gear does increase dehydration and decrease concentration levels. The worst part is that you do not feel any impact until its too late. Hence higher accident levels.

    2011 ZX 10R v BMW S1000RR feedback

Having ridden both bikes Id say neither, if it was my personal choice the decision would be between the cbr1000rr or ducati 1198. Kawi feels heavily underpowered due to its wide gearing, I had the chance to keep the bike overnight, and returned it to the dealer within 30 min. So far out of the...

Holy Hostility! (What would you do?)

Id say weather + bad luck dragging the bike = being on the edge, although that is still messed up no matter how you look at it

s1000rr lowside, did his guy turn off traction control?

From my understanding there are sensors in both the front and rear wheel that monitor the spin ratio between the two, if you are hard on gas in a corner and the rear steps out the sensors sense the difference in speed and cut the throttle, so the rear wheel matches the front spin, once that is...
