Stayed overnight and it was freaking cold in the trailer but it turned into a beautiful day. Had a great time. Good seeing some new faces and some old ones. I was on the 417x bike.
Sooo, last minute decision. I've been able to get tomorrow off.
I think I recall that Pro6 does accept registration at the track. Can anyone confirm this? Their website says that there is still approx. 9 Green spots open.
I've dropped them a note in their e-mail, but given that they're at...
Bondchick hold off on any US track days until there's an insurance plan available. I started another thread asking the been about available coverage as most plans have added an exclusion on "contests of speed".
The form is Y38. You will need to bring your bill of sale and the bike to the customs office for them to match up the VIN. If there is no VIN, as on purpose built race bikes, they use make, model and color. The key is to TELL them that you want a Y38. If you ask them what form you will need...
Hey Fiery check with them again, I just called Ontario Blue Cross regarding a policy and they specifically state they don't cover anything that involves speed such as a motorcycle track. I was very specific in indicating that I am not competing and I am not a professional being compensated.

Does anyone know who still has coverage? My old time standby Ralf Scholtes is now out of the game, anyone else?
Ralph is a piece of work. I wonder if Junior finally left for good or what. I'm continuously amazed whenever I hear that they're still in business. Especially when "good" dealerships have closed down.
A quick check you can do is check the caliper bolts, those would habe to come off in order to change the tires. Since its new to you though you really don't know if its due to them changing the tires so I agree bring it back and let them diagnose it.
Sounds to me to be a weak battery. Jumping it should have worked. Check the jumper connections and try again.Cant be any of the kill or safety switches (ie clutch switch or sife stand switch or else it wouldnt click when you try to start it.
I'll be there camping out. Are you guys planning some night "events" for your last track day this year? :cherry:
Unfortunately, I don't have a pit bike if you're planning any pit bike races.....
Sunday Sept 4 - Autobahn South Course with STT
I've been wanting to explore a few more of the US tracks and was wondering if anyone was up for this? I'll rather have someone come with for company and "just in case" support.
The track is about 9 hours away by car according to google maps...
