I honestly don't think there is a rationale as to the alignment of the button holes in the rotors. As they say they'll line up all the time if there is the same numbers of buttons as bolt holes. If there's not the same number then you CAN make them line up by rotating the rotors before...

Uhmm yeah quite a few are designed to be bent narrower or wider to fit. It's pretty common. 8 yrs and going strong.

No need to do work, if not needed. Most trailer flooring material is water resistant and the top side is just fine. I personally don't see the need for it. Oh well maybe I am lazy but hey I'm ok with that. :-)

Why paint it? I used traction tape on the ramp, when the grit rubs off imjust replace the tape.

For SV1000s Power Commander's site lists a bunch of maps. I would expect that they would for the DL1000 as well. Try a different map and she how she runs. Save your current map in case you need to go back to it.
