I knew somebody (ontario) who got a no seatbelt ticket while driving in a mall plaza or condo driveway...cant remember now. But it was most definitely NOT a public road.
I also know someone who likes to go sit in his parked car and drink after having a fight at home. Cool off so to speak. Now...
lmao so by the law you could be sitting in your own driveway and still get a ticket for texting :lmao:
how long before its illegal to text while in the bathroom?!

THIS is exactly what makes downtown riding no fun. I'm constantly tripping and scanning for hazards like some amped up user. If you enjoy doing that, more power to you.
Back country twisties are the best! Can relax, breath in the clean air, and enjoy the curves, and the scenery.
How many of you ride downtown on a regular basis?
I do it now and then (such as riding to work) and it makes me question why i bother. You can never get any speed, the pavement beaten to sh1t, streetcars and their tracks, hobo jaywalkers, hipster byciclists, crazy taxis, idiot SUVs, etc etc...
42k IS high for a bike, yet its still definitely worth $1-2g. Somebody will defn buy it in the spring, you just wait!
Another option is too keep it for track only...then you can take some risks with it and if you crash, oh well!
I'm seeing some really tasty promotional prices form the dealers..1.5-2 off on a sub 10k bikes (2014 models). Question is, can I expect to see these type of prices in the early spring. I don't really have room for another bike (in the garage), but soo tempted to go for it :)
How can plastic helmet go bad? Its not made of tofu, is it ? Just like the child seats.
All it is just marketing ploy to keep consumers buying shaite they don't need.
LMAO!
So where can I get "Pop goes the weasel exhaust" ?!
Seriously tho, as others had said a moderately louder exhaust may attract the right kind of attention - i.e. a cager would be made aware there's something buzzing in their blind spot.
Regardless of the exhaust type, never forget to...
Don't get HJC, or at least the cheap models. Mine (CL-17) didn't come with shaded visor, or the dust shield that goes on chin area. So lots of debris getting in, esp when its windy, and the venting is rather poor - have to ride with the visor slightly cracked open if the ambient temps are...
the condo lot has no security cameras?
i agree with the others - some moron theif really doesn't know his bikes and wanted the GSXR.
btw, which companies insure the SS bikes? Echelon and Intact don't.
Except e-bikes don't sing like the normal engines. Not only does this destroy the riding experience, but now you're even more likely to get mowed down by some fat cager who couldn't be bothered to do a shoulder check.
Do you have an official source for that? In case i need to convince the dealer about not paying QST.
Good point...i think i'd rather have it shipped or get a van - I'm more concerned about running into sh**ty weather and/or freezing to death on the 500+ km commute back.
I found a great deal on a bike in quebec (dealer).
Now, that means they can't get the plates for me - I'd have to go to MTO myself, with the ownership, which i guess i can't have unless I pay for the bike in full, huh?
Anyone has experience buying out of province?
