Riding in the warmth of the Phoenix sun sounds great.
Do you have a choice of rental? If you don't I'm sure you will enjoy just getting out but if possible you want to rent something with a little more gusto.
Whatever cruiser you rent it will certainly be different than your regular bike...
I’ve been on this forum for a few years and this seems to be a popular question and a topic of great debate and even ridicule.
Here is my 2 cents for what is worth.
We call riding a motorcycling on the street a “Sport” and perhaps it is but I think of it more as a “Passion”. The first time...
Hey Mike,
I've been through multiple sets of M3's and I liked them. I only switched to PR3's because my buddy seemed to get better mileage out of them. Last year at the end of a trip my M3's were toast while his PR3's had just started to square off.
I'm about halfway through my PR3's from...
I switched from M3's to Michelin Pilot Road 3's. I really like them. My buddy had a set on his VFR and they seemed to hold up longer than my M3's did on long trip.
Pete's Superbike was great to deal with and delivery was fast and easy.
Thanks for the replies.
I wish my first ride could be to visit with my Dad that would be really cool. Mine passed away a couple of years ago but I do certainly think about him often I ride. Trying to squeeze into my riding gear is a given... It must be they way I store it because every year...

It occurred to me that my first ride has become sort of a tradition and I wondered if anyone else does the same thing? Every year I fire up the bike on a Saturday...
I had the same experience. It is an amazing place though.. I'll leave now and meet you all there Saturday...

I'm interested. Does anyone know if they have completed the road work on highway 60? Last time I made the run half of the road though the park was torn up. It was a real mud hole.
Lemon pledge is good but this stuff is better. It make black engine parts look new and has the added feature of keeping all cable lubed. I would not use it on painted surfaces or rims but works great on the engine block.
Sonny, Everyone knows black bikes make you look thinner and thanks for yet one more reason to stay out of prison... however should we end up in the joint I think you would be my b**ch.....
Dave - Thanks for putting together the ride sorry I bailed early....
Hope to see everyone next time..
I think if your worried about having to change diapers during a ride you are officially no longer "Still in the Game" and might want to consider Incontinent Riders Section....
Congratulations BTW...
Okay in my best Jeff Foxworthy voice similar to "You Might Be A Redneck":
You might be a poser if
•You spit out the bug that just flew in your mouth.
•You spend more time shining your bike than riding it.
•You're too cool to wave at the kids in the mom-mobile in front of you.
•You grab for...
