dumb question... can i take the m1 safety course before my 60 day m1 holding period? or must i immediately upgrade to the m2after the course, which means i can't take the course the after my m1?
I know this has been discussed before but it's not what I'm asking. I'm NOT in a situation where I live in one place but want to register my bike in another with an insurance company.

@jonpurdy: I guess I was not clear in my analysis, but the insurance premiums are for the entire year. The assumption that I ride for 7 months is for the purposes of calculating how much gas I need and how many bus trips I need to take.
