    Parking Ticket at UofT

So I got a parking ticket at UofT outside Medical Science Building where all the scooters and bicycles park. It says PARK VEHICLE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHOUT CONSENT with set fine of $30. It is issued by City of Toronto. So anyway I can get away with this? Thanks

    The DVP

I go to UofT everyday and have to ride through the dvp at 3pm and 9:30pm. As long as you're always moving and not beside a cage, it's not too bad. From time to time though, you get an Accord, Civic, Mazda 3 or some SUV trying to race you on your bike. Some of them give you the finger for no...

Under 25 with a sport bike...what do you pay?

I'm 22 with 6 years G. Less than a year M2. One speeding ticket. I pay $3000 for a 2006 GSXR 600 at State Farm. No cars or houses bundled. I thought insurance for a 600 was going to be expensive when I first started riding, but once I got a quote for a 600, I sold my 250.

what temps does your gsxr 600/750 run at?

2006 GSXR600, today 30C it ran around 100-105 on the streets. On the highway it runs around 90. My feet were getting really hot and I feel like I'm hugging a huge oven. My ninja 250 was never that hot.

    WWYB "what would you buy"

In case you haven't checked yet, 636cc is more expensive than 599cc at State Farm In my case, 2006 636 was $4000 a year, 2006 R6 $3100 a year. if that CBR is an RR, then it would be lighter than the 636, which is better for female riders.

    Warm weather riding pants suggestions?

My RS Taichi GMX Motion fully perforated leather pants feels like its got A/C in it. On the other hand my garbage Speed and Strength jacket makes me sweat even when I don't zip it up. Totally worth it to get the higher quality stuff.

Adjusting rear shock preload on Ninja250

I don't think there's enough room to fit a hammer between the shocks and the wheel...but I'll give it try. Thanks. Anyone else have another tip?

Adjusting rear shock preload on Ninja250

Hi everyone, I tried adjusting my rear shock preload today but the collar wouldn't move a tiny bit. Another problem is that the adjusting tool can't grip on the notch tightly and slips whenever I push harder. I've tried doing it on the ground and on the rear stand but it doesn't seem to make any...

    RS-Taichi GP-EVO gloves review

If only you posted this thread earlier, I would have ordered my GMX Motion leather pants from them instead of ordering from the states, which took more than two weeks and I still haven't received them yet. I'm going to get all my taichi gear from this store from now on. Thanks for letting us know!

Full boots OR the Hi-top sneaker style

Just got a pair of Puma 1000v2. They were on sale at cycleworld on Sheppard and even cheaper than ordering from the states. Gotta love the ankle protection, but they are a pain to take off.
