You mean like 5 percent of the population who makes over 100k a year? 75 percent of Canadians reported having an income of less than 50k in 2009. 95 percent less than 100k. You think most Canadians have the money to fight constant tickets and pay for people to represent them?
Yeah because doing...
Really?
I think them getting a bunch of speeding tickets in a short time period would break their habit. Oh, and the insurance premium increase with said tickets.
Also, aren't most drivers seasoned drivers? Most of the population over the age of 25 have had their drivers license for 5+ years...
This is FLAWED logic. It's how we're trained. We grow up from as early as kids thinking you can go just slightly over the speed limit. I think most drivers on the road in Canada would say that the speed limits are too low, especially highway speeds. If you set speed limits to what a wide portion...
That's the misconception in your thinking. We're all trained to believe that we can go just a bit faster than the posted speed limit. Flawed logic IF we had fair speed limits. In other words, NOT 100 km/h on the highway. If we had 130 km/h on major multi lane highways that were heavily enforced...
They all go 120 anyways.
The fact that there is such a discrepancy in speed limit enforcement is the problem. There are the people who think they have to go 100 because that's the speed limit, then there are the people who go 120 because they think they won't get pulled over for doing 120. All...
Yeah they should. But they never do. And they should have a law and enforce it for the ****ing idiot drivers who hog the left lane. And the idiots who merge onto the highway at 60 km/h. And the idiots who don't signal. God, I don't understand how so many people suck at driving.
Speed limits are a joke in Canada. Freeways (400-series in Ontario + a few extra multi lane highways) should have a 130 km/h speed limit. 100 km/h for a multi lane highway is the biggest joke of a speed limit I've ever witnessed.
It's not that easy IMO. When you get into long term relationships both partners have to be supportive of each other's hobbies and interests. If both parties involved simply show no interest in their partners hobbies then the relationship won't last long. Your girlfriend doesn't have to ride...
