I considered that one, but opted for this package instead. (Plus shipping is expensive from Superbikesupply, which negates the savings)

I cant wait for my bigger rear sprocket!
I agree, and I have been debating putting on some sport-touring tires instead. I know Im not outriding my hyper-sport tires, but I like the idea that I have the grippiest tires possible, just in case. Its like buying a pair of expensive Asics running shoes, Im not running any marathons anytime...
$120 for tire + shipping + $40 for installation.
I'm not strapped for cash, just my front tire is practically brand new. That's why it sucks
Thnx for the opinions everyone!
No. That's not what I'm saying. That's why I'm Getting one of the more expensive tires with one of the shortest lifespans. (even though I know I will never outride these hyper-sport tires)
But if I can save 200$ by not having to replace a perfectly good front. Then I wont
I guess I've been so brainwashed into never mixing different tires.
But the prices for the bt016 and s20 are the same. So I'd be paying same price for an inferior tire
I think I'll try and put the S20 on the rear.
So it's time to change my rear tire. But my front tire still has plenty of life left in it. Hence, I would like to only change the rear tire.
Right now I have a set of Bridgestone Battlax BT016 on the bike.
I am dying for a set of the brand new Bridgestone S20s, but cannot justify buying a...
I use a RAM stem mount. Easy to install and remove every time you get off the bike. Super sturdy, adjustable and places the phone in the perfect viewing position. I love mine
I got it at a store called RadioWorld on Steeles. They have all kinds of different RAM mounts in stock
Ugh I want a set of Bridgstone S20 so damn bad, but I cant justify it. I have a set of Bridgestone BT016pro on now, the front still has soo much life left. I cant justify changing it. So I think Ill just pop another BT016 on the rear tire for now
:(
Heres what I finally decided upon:
http://www.baysideperformance.ca/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=140_2026_4163&products_id=11507
an RK GXW 520 chain in Gold with a +3 Drive Systems RS7 Superlight Steel rear sprocket
I am excite!
So I have decided to go up +3 in the rear. Thank you for all your input
Now I only have to decide what color chain....I can't decide whether or not a red chain would look sick on my red bike or would just be tacky
So many decisions.....
I know, everyone and their grandma does a -1/+2 on my bike. But from what ive read it just kills highway riding. And I plan on doing a long distance trip here and there. Thats why I thought going +2 or +3 would be a good middle ground.
There is over 20,000kms on my current chain and sprocket i...
So I'm on a 2007 zx6r and can't seem to decide on whether to go up +2 vs +3 in the rear sprocket (keeping front stock)
I am seeking more low end power, but do not want to be revving at 12k rpm during highway riding either.
Do you guys think going +3 in the rear sprocket will kill my highway...
When I caught my 172 it cost me about $650-$700 just to get it out of storage.
I got caught allegedly going much faster than you and I got it dropped down to a 49km over speeding ticket.
It was 10 months of anxiety and stress. The worst 10 months of my life waiting for trial. People dont...
