Jevco never surcharged the FZ1. Nothing new here.

The Shiver was classified as a sport bike by Jevco in April. Effective May 1st it and others were removed from the list. Please see the beginning of this thread for the current list.

A Jevco broker that is well versed in the company's rules should be able to verify your rate in a two minute telephone conversation. It's always best to deal with a broker that understands and specializes in motorcycle insurance. It will save time, money and frustration.

If your broker told you that than he/she was incorrect. Jevco has never had any Buells on their sport bike list.

The Street Triple is not on the sport bike list, therefore no surcharge would apply.

None of the Buells are considered sport bikes with Jevco this year or in past years.

The sport bike surcharge is applicable to all coverages including Comprehensive/Specified Perils.

I know that would make a lot of people happy, however I just doubt that will happen. If they were going in that direction then they would have added the 1996 models this year and they did not do that.
