Thanks for the info people. Just considering this as a possible next bike. Toysareforboys, nice bike. Saw your youtube video and love the shorty exhaust. Stock exhaust on this bike looks hideous!
Anyone on this forum have the R6S not the R6. Yamaha guys/gals will know the difference. Looking at it for a possible next bike as it has a more upright position. If you have one what do you think, advantages and disadvantages of the bike. More popular in the U.S. than here.
Anybody interested in riding this morning? Thinking of a 2 hour ride so you'll be back for the EuroCup final. Would be leaving at about 11:30 from the Bovaird and McGlaughlin Timmies.
With all their Kijiji ads and no one on this site has purchased a bike from them and/or willing to give a review. I probably just go check it out and see what type of feel I get.
Hello all, it seems like we are off to a bad start as far as riding related deaths and "critically injured accidents". I have been reading David Hough's Proficient Motorcycling. This book has great data. However, much of the data is American. My questions is three fold:
1) In your opinion...
I too would like to know what's up with Good Wheel Motors. They list a lot of bikes that appear to be mint with very low clicks. Has anyone on this forum purchased a bike from them. I've been burned in the past with buying cars, "when things appear too good to be true they usually are".
Wow, some crazy bad advice in this thread. For goodness sake people please ensure that your bike is off and in neutral when cleaning and lubing your chain. (everyone should love their fingers) There is a three sided brush called "The Grunge Brush" which is great for cleaning. They sell this...
No need to complain, just take your hard earned cash somewhere else. In this type of economy these sales people are just ignorant. I'm sure a motorcycle salesperson isn't making money hand over fist.
Man, that sucks. Proof that Alarms do nothing. You should be able to live anywhere in the city and keep a nice bike. I am not familiar with the cable locks. Was it tied or wrapped around something?
Sounds like you are level-headed and reflective. Good luck. As they say, there are two types of riders. Those who have fallen and those who are going to fall. Be careful out people as the roads aren't the greatest yet.
