Canadas Motorcycle . Thumbs up again

Spot on - they are also expanding their video reviews... not at RevZilla's production level (yet) but still amazing. I have only had good experiences through this site and I have ordered a variety of things... jacket/ gloves/ goggles/ disc lock / etc... never waited over 5 business days for anything

Yesterday around 4:45pm red ninja coming off the 401 Yonge exit heading north. Great sounding bike, what exhaust? I was the red CB500F in front of you. This morning red bike... so a ducati? turning left (west) onto Sheppard from Yonge St. Also this morning around College/ Bay... hacked up...

    Change of Hearts

Hey! New rider here. I did my course on the CBR125 and then went and bought the Honda CB500F. I thought I made the wrong call too initially because it just felt heavy - heavier than the only machine I had ridden... It goes away after a few miles. Just get used to the throttle, clutch and brakes...

    Looking for Rain Gear

I just bought the Alpinestar 2 piece quick seal (in orange) and it has held up great this week. I bought XL to fit over my Large and it is good and doesn't get too flappy. The pants have a velcro seal leg seal so that they are easy to get in and out of but also secured and tight while riding...

    First 500KM

Thanks guys, will definitely remember and I know the M1x said the same thing... guess it was a bad habit I picked up late in the trip on Saturday because of my hand getting tired, lol @Phinx: awesome man the Honda 500 has treated me well and I am sure you'll like it too... just keep in mind it...

    First 500KM

Thanks all, going to be good fun! @Riceburner: I think the lack of tailgunner may be because...they are soon to be in-laws :p I had heard that but to their credit they did park it and wait for me on multiple occasions when I hit a red light :)

    First 500KM

Morning! Thought I'd write a little about my first 500km as a new rider. I bought a brand new 2014 Honda CB500F back in December 2014. I chose to buy new because 1) I could afford to buy it outright and 2) I am not very mechanical and I wanted my first season/ seasons to be about the ride not...

    Bayview South of Steeles, Southbound

Thanks for the tips, I hadn't heard the lean on ramps tip before so that is very helpful! I heard steel plates are awful for stopping, luckily there was enough room on the left hand side of the lane to get stay on the pavement...with the exception of a few craters on that path...

    Bayview South of Steeles, Southbound

What a freaking disaster. Newbie rider here but I finished a 400km day on Saturday by heading home south on Bayview... just a mess of potholes, steel construction covers and construction. Was not the most fun way to end of the day but definitely helped build the confidence!

Hello, anyone with Honda CB500 (2013 and on)?

I went through State Farm and am paying 186/ month ($2,200/yr) for my 2014 CB500F. They offered $107/ month if I moved my car insurance over but unfortunately my fiance was in an at-fault accident in 2012 and with that accident there was no real savings (car is with Desjardin). I am 26, male...

    Any bets/takers

Although not the intent of the thread these discussions between more experienced riders about timing and early-season hazards do give us rookies some good tips... just a thought from the fly on the wall!
