    I was hoping to get a little more for the $150 + tax I was charged. They haven't even touched ground, now, clearly, frame sliders are designed to take *some* abuse, these things just collapsed from heat and wind.

    Thank you. This is what I thought. The constant heat/cold cycle (the bracket was scorching hot to touch!) and the levering of the bracket against the frame, as well as vibrations from the bike cause the almuminum to collapse and crack.
