Like x100 I've only ridden for a half season so far (bike issues, le sigh) but from my few 4+ group rides I've felt that pressure to keep up with the 600+ cc bikes with my 250, even with the more experienced riders on a lower cc bike, they'd smoke me in turns and are gone before I'm in the apex...

Totally count me in for some!! I'm looking forward to having my Saturday's off :)

I've got an older nuvi model and tek has the motorcycle garmen (name slips my mind). In planning on picking up a road map too.

Thanks for all the hints, tips and route ideas! I'm def looking into US2 now and on the homeward stretch going though Salut St Marie. Gonna have to do a few Ottawa runs and other longer distances to get myself used to a long day's ride.

Hi folks! Happy new year I have a wedding in early October in Minnesota, the bride (my friend) has requested the presence of baby b (my bike), oh an me :P I'm just wondering if anyone has hints and tips for trekking across the USA. It'll be myself on my 250 ninja and Tek on his wee strom...

My girl is gonna be stored until I can get her out again.. Most likely come when the temperature average is above 10-15..and the path is no longer mud. Since I've had engine problems with her this year, I wanna store her "by the book" because I don't wanna spend another grand and a month...

Thanks NealT & CrusinGrl!. My baby (also a ninja 250) had a few engine problems early in the season, so I think I'll go with the marine version

Is there a difference to using the marine vs regular? And if I did the fuel tonight, could I ride her to work in the am as a mix, or should I do it immediate?

Hey folks! I'm storing my bike for the first time, where would a girl get fuel stabilizer? I'm out in Port Hope so I can't get to any of the dealers. Would Cdn Tire have it? Also what would I be looking for? I'm planning on slowly getting her ready to store over the week.

I hope there will be a ride sometime this weekend! I wanna have at least one more ride before baby b goes to hibernate for the winter! An show off B's new pipe :)

Smart ass.. My tank got stuck since she was in the shop for 4 weeks.. It took 4 people trying different things before it worked.

oh dear.... glad to know i'm not the only newbie rider who has gastank problems... :P btw, thanks everyone for helping me get Baby B's tank open!

Wish I could make it for the fireworks!! I would have loved to see em! Side note; I'm glad we decided to back down from the ride, next time I'm in town I'll have to ask my driver if there's a ride, especially if there's desert involved!
