I totally understand why you had such a good time. I rode to West Virginia twice this summer because of was drawn by the warmth and southern hospitality of the people. Other areas may have more rugged beauty but only the southern states have a charm that keeps you coming back again and again.

Yes I ate at "Yesterdays" in the old hotel in Renovo. The food was only ok and I found the waitress less than friendly. I later found out by a local that their cook left there to open his own place. I'll tell you, PA people are no where near as friendly as West Virginians. I love those people.

Followed your recommendation last year and found that cascading river you mentioned. Although I didn't go swimming, I enjoyed watching a group of teenagers diving from the cliffs. It's really quite beautiful as the water seems to have Whiteface Mountain as its source.
