nope not exactly sure whats on this bike quite yet as its very hard to see, but there are numbers stamped in the lower side of the carb maybe that will help with identifying it. but ya the muffler needs to be repacked for sure, it looks like all or most of the packing is blown out

well since the muffler needs to be repacked I think im going to repack it before messing around inside the carb, as the muffler is basically hollow right now lmao

actually ya my quad had a fcr on it and it took me an afternoon to get her dialed in with jetting needle and everything but man when I was done it was a monster !

it doesn't seem to have any leaks that i can tell of, and I do think the muffler is due to be repacked as I knocked on the pipe and it sounds pretty hollow bottom to top lol... ive done carb work before on my 450 race quad, but not all units are the same either. I think I may try the duct tape...

I think it has had carb work done before, as there is an aftermarket fuel screw.... but no clue what was done

thought I changed that before, but guess I didn't save..... im not sure which carb is on it, but It says Keihin on it

Ahhh, ok wasn't sure if it the jetting or what.... Anyone wanna give me a hand with doing this ? I haven't been in a carb on a bike like this for a super long time

is it possible that my silencer may need to be repacked ? would the cause it "pop/crackle" ?

oh wow ive never heard of that before covering the air filter with duct tape that's new....i'll have to take a look and see if the plug is a PITA to get at or not on this machine....if it runs lean is it or will harm anything ?

ya I also thought that aswell but unsure if the 625's use/have the same body panels as there supermoto's or big cc dirtbikes

nope have not pulled the pipe off the head or anything since ive owned it, maybe the previous owner did im not sure...but it still has the factory header pipe on it best way to check if is lean is take it for a ride and yank the plug correct ? when driving it before pulling the plug do I need...

ahhhh that may be the culprit then, I bet I have a leak where there silencer slips on the factory pipe

ahhhh I thought it may have something to do with jetting but wasn't too sure

so I have a 04 ktm 625 smc that has a pro circuit t4 slip on on it and everytime I let off the throttle it back fires like a mother trucker... maybe not so much of a backfire but it pops/cracks like crazy any time I let off the throttle no mater what gear no matter what speed.... is it something...

anyone know where to get some custom decals done ? my bike is in need of some new decals so I figure i'll go the custom route anyone where some places are that aren't stupid expensive

yea im just leary on the amount of km, but a lot of the bike has been replaced tho too... any tips for when looking/driving it

well checked a couple places, and for what I pay for my truck ALONE I can get my bike insured, my truck, renter insurance, and life insurance through state farm for 3$ cheaper ... so it kind of a no brainer for that hahaha :)
