    U.S track day

Actually I've never had to get it, I have really good travel insurance through work. I just make sure when I'm going away somewhere to do risky things I call them and make sure I'll be covered if things don't go well! There are definitely people here on GTAM that will know more about it than me

    U.S track day

I do Jennings every winter (Late Feb/Early March) Works just like a track day here, book online, pay, show up, go ride!!! Great track and is lots of fun.... it is an expensive weekend when you add up all the costs but to get a break in the winter its well worth it to me. I strongly recommend...

Finally the 180/60 coming back to fit our 600cc machines

I raced on them yesterday with a Med+ rear.... I didn't find a drastic change from the 200, but the wear was amazing. I've never had a tire wear that nicely. The disclaimer on this though is I was riding a new bike this weekend. I did Friday/Saturday on worn 200 and switched to the 180 for...

Looking at adding a motorcycle lapping day for next Tuesday Oct 3rd.

Is this still going on? I could go for it

Which brake pads do you use?

I'm probably the only one but.... I used to use SBS pads on Discacciati rotors, needed pads for a weekend but only had an OEM (Triumph) set left... they performed just as well, were cheaper and lasted ages longer so I've never looked back. (Still on the Discacciati rotors though)

HighSide at Mosport - Aug 17

You've got a big bike with the power to pass on the straight, he doesn't. He made his pass where he could. I'm not defending him or condemning you, just stating my point of view.

HighSide at Mosport - Aug 17

Oh and this trump card of "he passed me and then crashed up the track" is odd to me. On a track day your main goals are usually 1, have fun. 2, take the bike home. You ride with a safe margin of error. I do the same on a track day! But for a racer practicing, their goals are a little...

HighSide at Mosport - Aug 17

I didn't watch the entire video of the OP, just skipped around through it a bit... what I did see was a pass way way way outside the op while the op was off line to the inside. Was 100% totally safe. OP, your not a little crossed up, your really crossed up. Pay attention to your line and your...

    Questions for GTA Aprilia Owners

Another 2016 Tuono owner here.... loving mine so far and zero issues but its very new. Had a Dorsoduro for a couple seasons before the Tuono and only had battery issues with it, otherwise it was faultless too. I don't buy the Aprilia unreliability hype. Now the PITA to work, ya that might...

New MV Agusta RVS - Sexy beast

Your right.... it might be best if I don't ride outside of a reasonable walking distance to a dealership. I thought I enjoyed my bike but now that you've made me aware of the knife edge I live on I just can't tolerate the risk of impending catastrophic failure.

New MV Agusta RVS - Sexy beast

Well I compared the SP, R1M to the Factory RSV4.... top models across the board. The RSV4 RR is price also in line with the standard/base R1 and CBR etc. I'll admit Ducati base model to other base models is priced higher, but its also a much larger motor and your getting a lot more in the base...

New MV Agusta RVS - Sexy beast

I have to disagree with you roadghost.... I haven't changed where I take the bike now that I own a euro compared to when I owned a japanese bike. I still take trips! I had my Aprilia down through Maryland and Virginia last summer, same trips I did with my VFR! Hopefully I can find a stretch...

New MV Agusta RVS - Sexy beast

Wow, I've owned a lot of vehicles from Europe including two Aprilia and one Triumph and they've been really reliable, I'm going to venture to say that they've all been at least equal to the reliability I've gotten from Honda or Suzuki. You know where my problems for reliability have come from...
