Do you try to match you helmet to your bike?

    Bike Red/black, Jacket -> ( cold ) Joe rocket: White/black // ( hot-mesh ) Joe rocket: Red/white/black, gloves -> Joe rocket: white/black, Helmet -> Shoe T-Boz : Orange/Red/Yellow/Black I offset the helmet colour so l wouldn't match perfectly, but instead a flare of colour. Warm hues with...

Can riding on the street help you lose weight?

Put a passenger on the back and it can be a bit of a workout. A little thing l try from time to time is lift my butt slightly off the seat and hold for as long as possible using my quads while squeezing the tank. Also l use my core to hold myself up. With a tankpads this is a golden workout.

do ducati SS riders get more attention than other SS riders?

Exhaust notes. I4 are like angry bees, but that "subwoofer growl" from a V2 is just sexy to anyone.

    Frickin' Parking Ticket

Fight ALLLLLLL parking tickets. Anything under $100 get lost in the system since it's cost more to process, convict, and charge you. Even then you can get a reduction and delayed payment method. If you get summoned to court. Dont go and take the conviction. YOu already got the ticket so nothing...

    250 to a R6?

I think there are some seasoned riders looking at this thread shaking their heads. We all sound like idiots. Sorry guys/girls. Nothing is more refreshing then watching the blind leading the blind. Where my popcorn and drink

    250 to a R6?

Same here. I started on a sv650 and jumped to a 09 CBR600rr. There are tons of hassles that come with the bike, theft ( BIGGG PROBLEM ON NEWER BIKES ), higher maintenance, l rarely pushed the RPM past 10K ( speeding is a great way to force your to get rid of the bike and give someone else that...

    GSXR-600, CBR-600 or YZF-R6 - Comparisons and Differences

Ive havent seen too much innovation hit street bike between 2009 - 2003; no matter the brand. Only in the last couple of years have thing got really heated. Otherwise save some cash get an previous generation bike and use the saving for upgrades. That's one cost that will always keep you broke ;)

    GSXR-600, CBR-600 or YZF-R6 - Comparisons and Differences

Slipper clutch on a 1000cc is warranted, but a 600cc... Really... What kind of riding style have you adopted. The only time lve needed one when in my earlier days when l would double or triple downshift, while powerband, and just dropping the clutch lazily.

No complaints. Year really does count in comparisons.

    GSXR-600, CBR-600 or YZF-R6 - Comparisons and Differences

I dont mind suzuki, but l think the build quality on a honda cbr is slightly higher. CBR600 seem to have less "do - dads" but more quality and more refined for practical riding and the gsx got more but less quality per part. A slipper clutch on a 600cc is useless to me, but l wish l had a gear...

With all of the recent deaths...

You got to be PRATICAL. This isnt theory. My level of dazing off is nowhere as extreme as others. I know how to keep away from disater and im always thinking 2 seconds ahead. When l dazed off im probably down to 1 sec ahead. The only place a bike should be RAW is at the track. Even then the...

With all of the recent deaths...

Nope, because ABS kept me from locking up my brakes until l was able to drive and brake in a way that l wouldnt. When your in that critical moment **** being extreme. We sometimes daze off or unable to fore see potential crashes until it's too late. Real riding skill comes with time not...

With all of the recent deaths...

There going ot be a lot more drivers hitting the road. Definitely a time to start giving out smart advice. It's a adrenline biased sport, and everyone is going to be on a SS. It's faux pas here to be on anything else, minus a cruiser. And it's time to start embracing safety devices on 600cc...
