It's my first bike, so I'm kind of limited to what I'm comfortable with getting. The Ninja 300 is my top pick, and the only other bike I know of which might be a good starter is the GS500
I asked the person if they wouldn't mind safetying the bike if I chose to buy it from them. This was their response -
"The bike is uninsured currently and it is a huge risk to safety a bike for someoe who can walk out on it as they only last for 28 days. I'd have to spend the money on the...
I'm looking at a few bikes and I asked someone if the bike came safetied, because if I'm not mistaken, you need to safety the vehicle to register it as a new owner?
The person said it doesn't come safetied because it doesn't need to be for another couple of years, but it will pass safety...
Evening everyone,
Still planning out my future motorcycle that I'm hopefully getting this month, along with my M1 and exit course.
My current insurance company won't even insure a 300, but they recommended me to the insurance company - Riders Plus, who gave me a decent quote at 1400 for the...
Afternoon
I'm planning on doing the course sometime this month if it's available. I don't have my license yet, nor a bike.
I'm curious to know what steps I need to take first.
Buy the bike, then insure it with just a m1 so I can take it to the exit course to use?
None of my friends ride, so...
I appreciate the help. Unfortunately I don't know anyone who rides a sports bike, but my friend does have a harley type bike so hopefully he'll tag along and take it for a test drive before I purchase one.
I've already got quotes on the two bikes I'm looking at, now I just need to find one for...
Hey guys/girls,
Hopefully buying my first bike within the next couple of weeks, but I have no clue what exactly I should be looking for when looking at the bikes.
I'm finding a few bikes have scratches on the fairings from people dropping them, but they say there's nothing mechanically wrong...
Thanks for the help guys. I got my insurance quote. They don't insure 600's, but they'll ensure a GS500 for 1600, and a Ninja 300 for 1400.
I think I might go for the 500, instead of craming myself on a 300, and wanting to upgrade within a few years.
I was at work, didn't have time.
So I shouls bldo my M1 exit course before I even get my M1, or just book it before booking my M1 caue it takes awhile to get in?
Do I need to have a bike before taking the exit course?
I'm from the Burlington area, anyone know of a training place around there?
Yeah, Cooperators doesnt insure the bikes I was looking at.
they told me to call Riders Plus and they said they'll insure the Suzuki GS500 and Ninja 300, but not a 600.
they said with some course (already forgot), the 500 would be 1600 a year, and the 300 is 1400 a year, full coverage.
