    Mid Summers dream ride

I'm pumped! Trouble is I know for sure that I will be leaving at the end of the day wanting a more MX/trail bike as opposed to my KLR, but not necessarily a bad thing tbh! lol Bring it!!!

    Off road trails near Toronto

Ha ha, working on my KLR definitely reminds me of working on an old Land Rover I had. KLR Guy, yeah I am always down for riding in numbers, especially with somebody who may know the area lol Alon, the standard KLR tool kit comprises of a hammer and a chisel, that's all we need.

Thanks for the info and nice vids! I googled Williams Tract and nothing came up, where is that? Barrie is a reasonable distance, what would be the best way to find these places?

    Off road trails near Toronto

Yes, my biggest concern is upsetting the land owners like farmers etc, I am from a agricultural background and know how much aggravation it can cause. I have compiled a short list of places to explore, thank you all for the suggestions. I just need a quick fix before I get my bike better set up...

    Off road trails near Toronto

Hello, I have my KLR on 80-20 on/off road tyres, I have recently bought the bike and am just itching to get on some dirt, trails, unpaved roads. I went up to Midland last week and purposely got myself lost, I ended up on some unpaved roads and it was just awesome to be back on the dirt, but...

    Usefulness of driver training course

Experience is where you will learn, my whole group -1 passed the course, I personally would not put half of them back on the road following completion. I only took it as my insurance insisted on it and I had to send them a scanned copy.

3 hour limit for parking, applicable to bikes?

Great, so the consensus is that the 3 hour limit should apply where applicable for street parking, but in reality, it is rarely enforced. The alternative is the TTC parking which is $5 a day, so assuming a $60 ticket once in a while, I can handle getting a ticket every two and a half working...

3 hour limit for parking, applicable to bikes?

Hi, no I believe that is paid parking in the lot behind shoppers? This is on the West side of the North American Centre, in front of a big condo building...

3 hour limit for parking, applicable to bikes?

Hello all, I have street parking near my work, Yonge and Finch area. A pic of the sign is posted below, on the meter itself it states '3 Hour Limit', do you think that count for motorcycles too? Sorry I am new to the city and still getting used to the signs. I was hoping I would be able to park...

Ownership of a used fixer upper

Hi, Im British too, been here a few years and just got my bike on the road. It does look like a daunting prospect, but once you've been through it once, you realise how similar it is compared with back in the UK. I am just grateful that we dont have to go through an MOT equivalent every single...

Fine for parking in front of a Fire Hydrant.

Thank you for the guidance all! Mimico, I will just pay the fine as you mentioned I am completely in the wrong, whether I knew it or not. Thanks for all of the advice, its definitely not going to happen again! Although, I feel that $100 is excessive, I suppose people would risk it all of the...

My new to me 2003 Kawasaki KLR 650

Hi George, I will keep that in mind, it has the 22 cent mod already, but I am unsure about the needle. What are you riding now as an alternative to the KLR?

My new to me 2003 Kawasaki KLR 650

Good to hear! There are endless mods but some see it as 'flogging a dead horse' lol! I really like the bike, at this stage it seems like it will be one of those things I will always keep in the background. It looks to be a great bike so far! I considered a later model, but I prefer the more...

My new to me 2003 Kawasaki KLR 650

Thanks for the tip, it came with road legal dirt tires on it (Dunlop 606's) and I swapped them myself for the tires you see on it now as I plan to do way more riding on asphalt in the near term. They are a great tire, super smoooth...
