Well, Sturgess made no mention of this tent sale on their web page, not even on their calendar of events. I ended up not making the trip down to Hamilton.

Obviously, the closer you are to Toronto, and the closer to the 401/400 corridors, the more expensive things will be. Rural properties can be hard to come by. Look in small town newspapers for property, sometimes these places are sold privately and wont be in MLS listings. Don't limit yourself...

I drive 128kms door to door, one way, to commute. It's not so bad, you get used to it. Fifteen hours travel time for a five day week. For me it's totally worth it. The additional cost for travel more than offsets the mortgage difference. At home, I can have an open fire in the warmer evenings...

Some were out, it was too damn windy though. I thought my face would freeze off.

Re: Triumph Rat I'm using Shell Rotella and a Yamaha filter. Coincidentally the filter for my FZ09 also fits the Thruxton, so I kill two birds with one stone, so to speak. BTW, very nice R spec Daytona mr.walczak.

Got the Yamaha out today at lunchtime. It was glorious!!!!

I'd go for the Sportster, then turn it into a tidy little flat-tracker or cafe racer.

The FZ09 makes a reasonable sport tourer.
