Yup. Does a fine job on the seams of the canvas of my boat. Over time the seams start to leak so I spray them with the sealer. Like I said, it does the trick.. just fine. I use the spray version in a pump spray bottle.

Go to a marine store (chandlery), found at most large marinas, and buy the spray or brush on stuff for boat tops/canvas. Will do the trick.

There is a Harveys right off the highway if that is what you are in to.

GREAT presentation by Gene and Neda tonight!!!! They covered so many aspects of their three year and counting journey. Living the life!!! My only regret was that I could not stay till the end. It was tough to get up when I had to leave. Thanks to both of you for sharing in this way!

When my former buddy was healthy enough to go on weeklong trips, I'd use the ear plugs for sleeping at night due to his wicked snoring.

Since my travelling buddy is no longer able to do long rides, I'll be lucky if I get to ride around the block a few times. His daily dialysis prevents him from doing more than a short day ride. Might end up doing something solo in early May, maybe down into West Virginia again.

I've had two Hondas, two Suzukis, one Yamaha and two Harleys. I put more miles/kms on the Harleys than the other bikes combined, and the Harleys were the only bikes that did NOT need repairs. (Or leak oil). It seems people just can't update their opinions of the quality from the Harley AMF...

I agree with BeastieGirl ... Nevada in particular will be MORE THAN BRUTAL. Las Vegas in August can reach 115 degrees F. Ask me how I know.

Riding the Blue Ridge Parkway back in the mid '80s ... a rattle snake slithering across the road. Had to turn around and go back for another look.

Unfortunately I have been able to do very little riding this summer. Last week I did manage a three hour ride from the cottage to Cookstown Outlet Mall and back. (The upside is that I purchased a Fossil watch at 40% off) I hope everyone else can do better than that. (The riding, not the watch!)

Just so I understand... If I download the app over wifi and fire it up (on wifi) thus downloading all the world maps (over wifi), in the future I'll never be downloading any maps over cellular. Correct?
