Cyclegear.com many locations...not as big as Royal but they do have some cheap gear. Not top of the line stuff but then again neither is Royal. I stopped at a few locations on my way to Barber last summer, not sure about Dual Sport stuff..wasn't looking for any at the time.

My neighbors daughter wants to learn to ride ( and there will be no pics :rolleyes:) I am planning on taking her to Horseshoe this season for an off road school...they have all the gear...different size bikes and experienced instructors.

John is a pro! He did my BMW F800ST forks a couple of years ago, I wanted to change springs and install emulators. Bike only had about 8,000 Km but John discovered some worn parts inside. John overhauled the forks, replaced the worn parts, modified and installed the emulators with springs...

I don't know about the bike lifts but after shopping around last fall I did purchase a 4 post car lift from DirectLift and was very happy with the product and the service. They are at the next bike show in March..maybe you can get a deal?

I stay in Hotel/motels quite a bit for work/travel and find it always varies from location to location. In Ontario I have not been happy with Super 8 and usually pay a little more for a Comfort Inn which have almost always been to my liking. Clean, no smoke in room and a decent spread at breky...

John Sharrard will be at the Jan bike show, might be worth stopping by if you haven't done anything yet. This guy knows his stuff! He modified my front forks ( BMW F800ST ) and then replaced the rear shock with a Elka...transforms the bike!

Sounds like you are not going to be getting much for your bike. Have you considered selling it as is...might find someone willing to do the repairs themselves... that way they could take their time to source the parts. On a friends F800S the dealer wanted $1100 + labour for the parts to repair...
