I tried at TO BMW a while ago and they told me to buy online...which I did...if you buy from Mosport they are still $50 but that ends tonight at midnight I believe. BMW ticket just got you a few extra goodies at the gate and a free sausage or whatever Sat nite.
I have one that I ordered online for my F800 and then picked up another larger one for my bro in law's Honda Shadow. Got that one at CycleWorld Superstore for only a few bucks more than the US order.
You sure that came out of the top hole? Sounds more to me like it came out of a lower hole :D Could be why you are so relieved?
Silly me I suppose I base my opinions on actual riding experience:cool:
At this site you can pick several bikes and compare back and forth..looks to me like the new bike has less forward lean but more degree of knee bend.

Lots of traffic and police...they had speed bumps in there last time I went thru..not sure if they are back since they were the removable type..at least they left a space so you can ride between them on a bike and not have to go over them.
Just came back from Baysville, Dorset and Dwight ( unfortunately working so no bike ) They are paving a large chunk between Baysville and Dorset. Today they had started the Eastbound portion, not sure if it will all be paved by the weekend. I would recommend avoiding that stretch until you can...

I was working in that area last week, only flooding was right in Minden as of last Weds. Most roads were ok with some sand and gravel but be carefull in the lower areas..the flooding may have left some dirt on the roads. Some of the lakes were still frozen..they were still skiing in Collingwood...

I tested one at Mosport a few years ago...probably my next street bike...how do you find the weight compared to your F800ST?
Hey Vickie
Did you get your lowering done at John Sharrard's shop? I was admiring a K1300S in there earlier this year that he was working on.
John did my F800ST suspension.
I think that you will find GP bikes the best for what you are looking for. Royal is ok but I find that their stuff is more bottom of the line and they don't seem to have as much stock of quality gear. There is a Royal very close to GP in Whitby..so you can still check out both.
