    Bmw k1300s

I took on out on a demo ride last summer at Mosport. I currently ride a F800ST and was expecting to find it feel very heavy compared to my bike but not so. In fact it felt very composed and I was impressed. It reminded me of when I first drove a fast European sedan...there may be others than can...

    Suggestions for inexpensive top box

I've seen some no name ones at CycleWorld Superstore as well, might be worth a look. If I recall they were under $100.

    Looking for wheel chock suggestions.

Not sure if this link will work... http://www.royaldistributing.com/main/index.php?option=com_flippingbook&view=book&id=11&Itemid=195&firstPageNumber=259 If it doesn't go to royal's site, 2011 Spring Fall Catalog, page 258-259 shows the baxley knockoff at $129 but when you add it to your cart...

    Looking for wheel chock suggestions.

I must have missed the post showing the Blue PA wheel chock, that one does look very similar to the Baxley. I was referring to the post # 24 That showed a black PA wheel chock that looks like the same design as the Bike Pro which is what I have for my scooter ( or at least the Harbour Frieght...

    Looking for wheel chock suggestions.

As someone who owns both versions and paid about $15K for my last bike.....I would never use the cheap model on this bike...ok for my Pit bike scooter. Besides the Royal version of the Baxley is $129 list and I picked one up for a buddy last summer onsale for $79

    Perforated leather jacket

I found this place the other day when I needed to ship a defective tire back to the US supplier. If you are willing to drive down to the US it might be worth your while. They are cheap....and they don't require you to pay any annual fees to use their address. Bring the GF....factory outlet mall...

    Looking for wheel chock suggestions.

That looks like the cheap one I bought at Harbour Freight and use for my scooter. Like I mentioned it is too wide and needs some blocks installed for the narrow tire. It is no comparison to my Baxley. When I tried my BMW in it the bottom of the fork tubes came way too close to the steel rod on...

    Looking for wheel chock suggestions.

Last year at the Jan bike show...the guy selling the Bike pro style chock had them. This year he had a trailer with a side access window to look in and there was a Busa lit up with neon inside. He might be back at the spring show? Found a pamphlet from www.bike-pro.com and it mentions a "...

    Looking for wheel chock suggestions.

I have the Baxley which I use on my BMW F800ST and I have a cheepy similar to the one from Princess that I use for my pit bike...Aprilla SR50 Problem is not the wheel diameter..it is the width. I bought some plastic inserts a while back to go inside the wheel chock but I have yet to try them out.

    Looking for wheel chock suggestions.

I also own a Baxley and it is fabulous but pricey. Royal Distributors has a wheel chock that is a very close copy. I think they are $129 normally and I picked one up last summer on sale for $79. That way I can leave one in my trailer. Rob is right about how stable they are, you really don't need...

    japanese bikes

If you aren't very mechanically inclined I would not be buying a 24 year old bike that was never sold here. You have to think about the costs you will be paying to keep any old bike on the road, especially if you are not able to do the work yourself. It would not take long to make that $2500...

    Accelerated Technologies??

He ain't kiddin...listen when you get the directions since his driveway looks like a narrow trail thru the bush...you would never think that there is a house and shop back there!

    Accelerated Technologies??

John is fabulous. He installed emulators from Race Tech in my BMW F800, which he modified and reworked my forks. Beautiful job. I went back later in the summer and he installed an Elka rear shock. He was working with Elka at that time developing a shock for the new 250 Honda series. The guy...

    lowering help

I would go to a BMW dealer and check if they have a factory lowered F800, on the F800S and the F800ST you could get a factory lowered chassis and then there were three different seats available. The lowest setup is substantially lower than the standard. No worries about doing a custom...

A Vicious Cycle missnig from the Motorcycle show?

Yeah they had a substantial display at the Dec show, even had some guys from Twisted Throttle there. Most likely they don't think it's worthwhile to do both shows. Trailer guy I was talking to last friday said that his normal big booth used to cost $15K. So this year he just had a small area and...
