    2016-07-12 Innisfil - 16 yr-old rider dead, 15-yr-old passenger seriously injured

Way too young to ride, the complexities in the way traffic behaves still have not been mentally modeled, should have years of experience driving a car before riding.

Hm, seems like a lot of crashes caused by older drivers, they just don't have the visual and mental acuity to spot us motorcyclists, it's understandable and something to keep in mind when riding.

    Ninja 250 maintenance costs

I've had the Ninja 250R for 3 years now and I haven't done anything to it but oil change and clean the chain. I read (from credible sources) that's all you need for the first 20 thousand km. Anything else done to it is just wasting time and money. Apparently these bikes ARE bulletproof.

What was your first street bike?

250R and still have it, as everyone knows, it's an awesome bike to start on. I still love it too much to trade it for something faster. But I know I'll eventually have to.

Bike that has TC and ABS?

Good question. Technologically advanced cars are faster than ones that don't have it. But are they more fun? Cars with stick shift, ABS and traction control are a lot more fun to drive. My opinion is that no TC and ABS only serves one purpose and it's too contribute to the thrill of riding.

    This is emergency braking!!!!

Well locking up makes you brake slower, so I don't think so.

Riding a motorcycle and driving stick

Having driven manual cars for years, when I hopped on a motorcycle for the first time, I was shifting pretty damn well after around half an hour of practice. I've only stalled around 2 or 3 times since I started riding two years ago. Right off the bat, I blip the motorcycle throttle during...
