Hmmm maybe that's my flaw..... I should be feathering my clutch on myliter bike on the turns like I used to do racing MOTOCROSS. Asphalt and clutch feathering = big mess and prob oil spill on track from the crash.

With most bikes gearing being altered, speedo is useless. Best investment is a starlane lap timer(GPS). It shows corner speed, top speed accel& braking points all from the comfort of your chair at home. You can also overlay different laps to compare consistency. My fastest lap at TMP had the...
That part I would talk to tire reps, depending on brand preference will direct you on which one to choose. I've only heard good things about Q3's but I've never used them. Me personally I've used Bridgestone's and a few Pirellis. IMO next step is warmers. That will remove the "wonder if there...
Pros are made to last, not "grip" if it's just a fun day grab race DOT's. Q3's I think are a quicker tire. ( never tried them, going by friends that use them)
Dot's have less to worry about warming up plus same cost approx as pros. It is based on personal goals.
Track days for me are fun...
Don't use them if your going to try to go faster. I bought a set and took them off after 5 laps. Body and bike parts are more expensive to fix and heal. If you want to save a bit of cash. Buy scrubs. You will still get 3-4 track days but half the cost. The scrubs I sell average 4 track days...
I'm 6'2" and 210. I used to think the same. Get a custom suit done. But look into the company. There are good custom suit companies. But not for cheap. The 1500 could have bought an awesome suit.

Don't worry, I actually gave my suit away. It just started to fall apart.
Went out bought a A-stars never been happier it fit perfect. He is a very nice guy. But quality control just isn't there.

You were running well zeniceguy, turn 2, 8 cut on a 45* angle tight to turtle no bumps and can fly through. Turn 10. Elbow should breeze past pylon ( ask carbon cat he got it ...lol). Those turns if taken correct will drop 1-2 sec minimum off your times.

Not bad. Shifter foot was 1.5" lower the brake foot. Lol.
Bike handled the low side like a champ.
Going over it now before round 3.
Might add a bit of gibsons finest as I go. [emoji39]
