i have an 848 evo, got it a few weeks ago... i think i will fill up half the tank with shell 91 and then the regular stuff... no need to fill up the plastic tanks since it won't rust... and it's gonna be stored in my basement anyways :)
i am getting one for my 848 soon. ordered and coming soon.
saw another guy with it, he was moving the bike on it efforlessly... really cool stand! The best thing is that it can move around once its on a stand. Can't do that with front and rear stands!
or you can try amazon for some "used - like new" oil filters ...... lol...

really didn't know used filters can be sold or bought!
in august I got off work late, around 11pm. Went to the bike and saw a guy kicking my bike and i heard a loud crack... i yelled at him, and he started running... my nature instinct kicked in and I ran after the guy... i had my full bike gear on so I felt pretty invincible at that moment. I...
i do it almost everyday in a one lane street and most of the cars are stuck because they are waiting for a left turn. I just want to go straight. Some cagers have tried to block me, but they end up leaving the other side of the lane wide open. so I just go around them and just smile at them...
I find air pressure make a difference... i was on my ex500 merging onto 404 and got on the snakes... scared me quite a bit. I went home and checked my tire pressure and I was 3 psi under what was recommended. I pumped it up to spec and went to hit the same snake again, it was still squrimy...
at the end of the day... what can you do... i started riding 5 yrs ago with an ex500 when i was 24. Insurance was 1500 bucks. At the same time quoted for a 6R was 3600 bucks. I just picked up an 848, 29 yrs old, insurance is 1500 bucks. I consider the 848 is my graduation gift from the ex...
Well, I decided to pick up a 848 from them a week ago. Very easy to deal with. Even took it to GP Bikes and have Ken have a once over. Warranty is still valid for another 21 months. They got everything ready for me including registration and plates.
Loving my 848 Evo, definetly a big...
depending on what they are riding........... popping a wheelie really can be accidental. I did a ducati demo days and tested a 848.... first time accelerating i popped one without knowing it.... lol
Where can I find them? Called princess auto and none of them has any...
I am heading over to buffalo this saturday, any good bike shops where I can buy brake pads and air filter for my ex500? Does anyone know if its actually cheaper over there?
Thanks,
well, it takes a little bit of jiggling to get to the on position..sometimes no jiggling sometimes yes.... . maybe i'll try to file it down a bit... or try to use it more often? the key i got is much longer than my original key... don't know if that matters though
Ended up going to Benson Lock mentioned in another thread. $6+tax.
The key works somewhat... they said its because my original key is a little worn out ... I guess its good enough for a spare?
I got my GM yesterday at aurora.
I did no residential, no emergency stop... but got dinged in that section...lol... maybe my final pull into the parking spot is my emergency stop...
oh well, as long as i pass! Thanks for the checklist and the routes.. There were some constructions...
maybe a stupid question...
but when doing a right turn, and its a green light, do i still have to stop before the white line just like it is red?
Thanks,
