I did spray some combustible aerosol around the carbs before, the revs didn't change. I wi'll have to take a look at the airfilter. I do have a tool tray under the seat. Thanks for the tips.

Do you suspect vacuum leak? Or perhaps lean mixture?

What RPM do you idle after riding in traffic in the city? Mine was ~3k RPM, waaaay to high.

I've been on the lookout for radians ever since i bought mine, and haven't found anyone yet. Except i talked to this lady when i was in CycleWerx the other day and she said she used to ride a radian. I have a few minor issues - one is a high idle when hot, with the idle knob turned down it...

The same, daily ride, '91 blue. Scratched up and a few minor issues, i'm the 3rd owner, but otherwise is a great ride. You are the first person i know who still rides a radian :)

Do you still ride your radian? I've got mine about 2 month ago, and may have some questions. IMO leaky gaskets is a typical issue for them.

I would just add anything that smells: toiletries, makeup, etc has to be hung on tree away from the camp. I usually pack bear bangers (e.g. http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/HikingCamping/HealthSafety/PRD~4007-144/tru-flare-bear-bangers.jsp), just because i know people with me will pack bear...

Okay, i'll show up earlier, have to drive from Toronto first :) it doesn't seem to be as easy as "idle knob". Most likely mixture, which isn't an easy fix.. Revs stay around 3k on 60-70km/hr
