    License plate question

Thanks for the replies guys. I just got off the phone with my insurance company and will just have two bikes on the policy. I'll cancel the coverage for the old bike when it gets sold; there will be no penalty since I will still have a policy for my new bike and the insurance is pro-rated so...

    License plate question

Hey everyone, Maybe one of you can help clear up my question. I will be purchasing a new (to me) bike, and taking delivery and registering the motorcycle on Saturday. I also already own a motorcycle, and am in the process of selling it. I want to keep my current license plate on my current...

    Canada's Motorcyle.ca

ordered a set of gloves and they were late to ship. Sent them an email, and they replied very quickly saying they were backordered. Got them soon after that. Decent pricing, good customer service. Would buy again.

Do you carry original ownership with you?

I just keep both originals in one of those cheap plastic flip wallets the insurance company gives you. This then goes into a ziplock bag, and I leave this package in my jacket. Most jackets what a zipped chest pocket (I've owned 5 riding jackets and they all have these), so it won't get lost and...

    2014 Demo Days

Test rode the R6 and then the FZ-07 at Oakville Yamaha yesterday. The R6 was difficult to enjoy because of all the traffic; never got out of second gear! The FZ-07 was a neat little bike, turn-in was nearly instantaneous and light as a feather. The engine was a bit buzzy though, but adequate...

    Zip your bags up.

For bags with two zips, you can secure the pulls together by looping a paperclip through. Easy, quick, and no need to twist with the twist-tie.

    Speedworx Superbike Service

After seeing a few members here recommend Speedworx, I took my bike to get an oil service yesterday. I dealt with Fawaz and the service was done by Eric. First off, they are temporarily working extended hours (open until 8pm), so it made it very convenient for me to arrange for an appointment...

    Looking for a good cover

I have a Nelson Rigg Falcon Defender 3000 series. Seems to be discontinued, but they have the 2000 series: http://www.canadasmotorcycle.ca/nelson-rigg-falcon-defender-2000-cover.html I used to park my bike outside every day, and the bike remained dry after rainstorms. The XL is pretty generous...

    2014 Demo Days

Yeah, this will be my second full season with the GSXF now, so I'm looking to change bikes in the fall (tentatively, if finances allow). I'd love to get a Street Triple or the Yamaha MT-07 or MT-09. Maybe even an SV650, if I can find a reasonably priced naked one. After test riding the CBR500RA...

EPA acknowledges that ethanol damages engines

There's an ESSO nearby where I live (Don Mills and Sheppard) that has 93 octane gas; anyone know if 93 octane gas ethanol free by default?

    2014 Demo Days

I rode the CBR500RA at 1pm and then the CBR600RR at 2pm. The 500 was nice, the light weight was refreshing coming from my GSX650F (500lbs wet). Power was adequate, but the engine wasn't as smooth as I'm used to on my inline 4. Didn't really get to open it up that much (too much traffic and...

    TD Insurance (Bike Only)

I've been with TD since spring 2012. Have been quite satisfied. No big bumps in rates. Went from a Ninja 250 to a GSXF650 and the bump in rates was very small. Customer service has been great, but I've only called in three times.
