Depends on what bike you have. My old bike didn't require an alarm for theft coverage, but when I purchased my F4i they said I needed one installed in order to be covered for theft.
Passed a group of riders pulled over on the southbound DVP today around 6:30pm. There was an ambulance there and someone being taken away on a stretcher. Hope you guys were ok.
CBI will hold your packages for a long time (I think up to 3 months?). I always just order a whole wackload of stuff and pick everything up at once. Averages out my gas cost with the savings I get from all my separate purchases.
PS, stop by Memphis Fire BBQ in Winona on the way back ;)
~8:50 this morning northbound on the 404 between Finch and Steeles exits. Ducati Diavel rider with a white jacket, silver/grey helmet and backpack. Thank you for passing me on the right in my own lane. That took me by surprising (didn't see you coming). Kudos on then proceeding to weave in and...
Congrats on the ride. Used to be a Guelphite myself, some nice roads around there. Was this for an iron butt challenge or something? Just curious because of the high level of detail with your writeup

I don't think the Livewire is going to be for sale publicly. The Verge points out that it's more of a technology demonstration to engage the public on what they expect an electric HD should be.

I also rode the 690 Duke at the demo (3pm). I found it very light and nimble (could steer the thing with the seat of my pants), but the buzzing was atrocious. My hands and feet were numb after the demo.
Jumped on the RC8 at 4pm, man that bike is powerful! Really easy to modulate though, very...
If 70% of your commute is on the highway, I would go with the CBR500 for the fairing. Plus, I think it looks awesome!
You could also wait for the new CBR650F, but that may be stretching your budget.
You are correct! I ended up buying a second set of plates and leaving my old bike as is. Temp sticker is only good for 10 days so I just ended up buying the full year for the sticker.
Thanks for everyone's input!
Guy on a red Ninja 250 this afternoon, getting off the DVP (northbound) then going Westbound on Eglinton and Northbound again on Don Mills. Lane splitting isn't legal in Toronto. Be careful out there.
