    End of riding season

Once the engine is replaced it is a brand new bike. lol I got 160,000km on the engine without a problem. You cant do anything to prevent a broken spring, just pray it doesn't lock up on you. Not only were straight lines quick so were the twisties. I live off of 15 side road and have never been...

    End of riding season

A stock motor maybe. Mine was not stock. It was pushing 125hp. I would put a new S&S crate engine in. Maybe a 120R. or T143 pushing 163Hp. 152lbstq. those are $5,500 and $9,500. all American prices then there is always hidden cost.

    End of riding season

That's the problem with uneducated, closed minded people. If you would have finished reading it you wouldn't have looked so stupid with your response.

    End of riding season

Looks like the end of my riding season. Last Friday coming back from wasaga beach my bike started sputtering like it was out of gas. No power. I gear down pull in the clutch and get it off the road just as it died. It sounded rear bad as I tried to restart. I get it to the shop and they take it...

    New road signs

On 15th side rd just before the second S turn heading east from Guelph line. I live just off the 15th and there seems to be a bike in that ditch every weekend. Be safe out there.

Harley Street 750 reviews are starting up again...

I use to say I would never ride an old mans bike. That was until I got older. The young guys now will eventually get into the big boy Harley bikes. How many older people do you see still bent over a crotch rocket? Harley Davidson has nothing to worry about, but I do think for a starter bike they...

    883 harley

My buddy loves his 883. He did say the only problem was that the controls made his knees too high and the wind made his vagina cold.

    Suspension Q.

I cant be of any help with sport bikes but I went with the Worksperformance.com fully adjustable, dual rate springs for my roadking. They custom make each shock for you depending on your weight, riding style, and travel wanted. They are not cheap. I paid about $1000. but are worth every dollar...

    Ideas for beating noise meter

When I was tested at the FOC last year I was pulled over by the OPP and was escorted into the community centre parking lot and was checked by the DOT. The officer was present but at no time was my actual RPM checked as I don't have a gage. This maybe something new, but last year neither one had...

Toronto should crack down on loud motorcycles: Editorial

Maybe with the guys you ride with. Although not as high as sport bikes, but I know my rev limiter is at 6800.

Toronto should crack down on loud motorcycles: Editorial

I was checked at the FOC. After I passed the idle, he told me to get it up to 2000rpm. Since I don't have a tach I gave it a little gas and he said that's good, your free to go. He didn't even confirm it. There is no way they can charge you without the facts. "ohh well it sounded like it was at...

    Another deadly crash

RIP Rider. RIP passenger. Sorry for your loss mom. I was out of the riding scene for about 10 years due to an auto accident and decided to take the RTI refresher course. There were some riders there that I hoped I would never meet on the road. Same goes with the riding basics m1. I have friends...

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Black ZR-6 and a black and red GSXR stopped at the chip truck on 15th Side rd and hwy 25. Good looking bikes. The lady that sells corn ain't bad either. Careful on the 15th. There have been cops hiding all weekend. Black RoadKing ( I believe) I only saw the front on Guelph Line. Nice...

Toronto should crack down on loud motorcycles: Editorial

I agree 100% that the biggest offender here is the D-bags with straight pipes riding HD cruisers. But they are not the only ones. The first thing you hear when they get their bikes is "I want it to be loud". With that being said, all who ride these bikes cannot be group into the D-bag, light...

Toronto should crack down on loud motorcycles: Editorial

Yes, because the more dangerous offender here is the loud pipes, not some ****** on a sport bike doing twice the posted speed.

Rust on the brand new bike!

The secret is to keep it clean all the time. We spend to much to make the bikes look good so why not take a couple minutes after each ride and clean it up. When Touring my bike gets washed when I get home. Could be a week or three, depends on destination. Other then that I knock the dead bugs...

Rust on the brand new bike!

I have an 05 bike. about 132,000km on it. I have zero rust. Not one spot. If you put quality parts on, keep it stored inside and keep it clean you should be able to keep it rust free. Now my Jeep on the other hand, I had rust on it the second day.
