Just to clarify what everyone knows..."to get from point A to point B faster then you did the day before".

Two motorcyclists charged in collision that left pedestrian injured

LOL...bikes or cagers it should not matter who was involved in this accident. All the vehicles were at a full stop at the beginning of the video (well at 0.30) including the bike. The bike changed lanes to get around a slow moving vehicle and returned to its original lane. Nothing wrong with...

For Those With Children That About to Ride....

Spend time learning to drive a car in traffic first before venturing out on a bike. Safest place to be to learn defensive driving/riding IMO. Trail riding is a good idea but I won't let this be her only experience before sending her out in traffic.

CBC Article - Motorcycle deaths could hit 7-year high, OPP says

I'm all for rider training but displacement restrictions..sorry, I can't support the nanny state. I'll leave this to the forces of nature...insurance and Darwin.

    ZX6R - died while riding

I went with an OEM stator so no experience with ricksmotorsport product, but I found them new for about 140USD on amazon/ebay earlier in the year out of the US. Checkout Partshark.com for a price comparison on kawi OEM parts. I'm in the US every month so I ship to a US mailbox in Niagara Falls...

    ZX6R - died while riding

Similar issue with my 2011 early this year. I would suggest getting a multimeter and a copy of the service manual online from the zx6r forum. As others stated, check battery, stator and rectifier per manual to isolate the problem. The service manual outlines some pretty quick checks.

    Failing to stop

There is a lot of information readily available but this is a pretty good one page summary of your rights, at home, in a car and on the street. http://www.criminaltriallawyers.ca/?q=know-your-rights

    "On the go group rides"

I don't care one way or the other. I ride staggered behind other riders and or pull up beside other riders at lights all the time and to be honest I don't really care what they think. I'll give a little head nod if they look over but other then that I don't want to engage in a conversation. As...

    Brake Pad Recommendations

I found them at motomummy.com at $40-50 a pair for the .95 track/street rated front pads...but yeah, I could not find them in Canada.

10 mph ticket in NY State - reported back to Ontario

You are correct. I got a ticket in Virginia and no rec. agreement with Ontario unless you fail to pay your ticket and license is suspended.

    Mirrors

Your required to have a left side mirror for a car to be legal? I was under the impression that only one mirror is required and the rear view mirror (middle) would be sufficient (...if you happened to piss off a group of bikers who smashed your side mirrors off the car.) lol.

    Mirrors

Hamilton 5-0 told me one mirror is sufficient...right or left side (or middle for cars). If your riding a Ducati you should receive an automatic ticket because all the mirrors are useless. lol.

    Tire pump suggestions

Bicycle pump...I've even used it a couple times in an emergency to fill my car/truck tires when I had a slow leak.
