Wow Sal, thanks for the input! That does sound a lot like me. However, I do feel that I will be upgrading sooner or later to a SS. I would rather do it now when I can get good value for my current bike. Naked bikes and cruisers are not my cup of tea, and although I can appreciate their beauty, I...
Sounds like greed to me. What justifies that price? I can go out and rent $100,000 cars for that price or less. I've already agreed to put down some insurance in case of an accident. I'd also prefer to be followed by the owner. I won't be ripping it on the roads - I'll do that on my own once I...
HEY! That's not very nice. I'm very sensitive about my weight.
Kidding. I'm 170. But the bike is slower than I expect it to be when I'm doing the twisties. Plus when I ride two up, it's even slower... Don't let the cc's fool you, the bike is a beginner one and is configured completely different...
Nope. Just getting really bored of it and it's depreciating in value. If I don't sell it now while the opportunity is there, I'll have to sell it next year on my own.
Definitely going to test ride the daytona 675 (not the R though as they don't have it). This will give me a feel for the power, but what I really want is the feel of the entire bike. Sure, riding the Daytona will probably let me know 90% of what I need to know, it's the other 10% that worries me. :)
Thanks Mac, I appreciate the input. I've thought about it for a while and I do want something that has more power and something that I would keep for a very very long time. My current CBR500 won't last me past next season. Also, the dealer with the F3 wants my bike for a trade-in so I rather...
I completely understand. That being said, I've put 5000 clicks on my bike. At what point am I no longer considered a new rider? Is this measured in time or in mileage? Would someone who has ridden 20,000km in 2 years be more or less experienced than someone who has ridden 5,000km in 5 years...
Hi everyone,
I have a dilemma. I really want to buy an F3 675. The problem is that the only dealer in the GTA has one and it belongs to a customer who is selling the bike. Hence, nobody can take it out for a test ride.
I know this is a stretch and likely won't happen, but is there anyone with...
Oh my god! After work (~5ish) I started from Concord to downtown via Allen rd.......and left my rain gear at home. By the end of it, I felt like I rode through a swimming pool. Absolutely everything was drenched.
I usually don't mind riding in the rain. Then again, I usually have my rain gear...
