Good choice on Rocky Harbour and Woody's Point Mike, spend some time in that area! Don't blame you for taking the short ferry to Cape Breton! The old highway south of Sydney is a nice ride to the causeway and if you do the Cabot Trail be sure to do the Skyline tour. Cheers!

I had to get back from Cape Breton a few years back, so I rode all night. On the 401 I just followed transports, using their lights and they also took care of any wildlife. Debris is a concern and the cold sucked too! Night riding is ok, but I pick my spots and usually close to home.

Two years ago, I left Milton at noon on a Sunday. Almost made it to New Brunswick, and was in Sydney by 7pm Monday night. Jumped on the midnight ferry and was in Port aux Bass at 8am Tuesday. I agree.............he went right past my favorite golf course! Sandhills, about 1.5 hours west of North Platte! Whats the farthest you have rode in a day regder? My craziest was from Inverness, Cape Breton to Milton....lol Cheers!

Go to Woody's Point, spend a few days in Gros Morne......its a beautiful place! If you go to St. Johns check out Signal Hill and Cape Spear.
