hey man fastest I have had mine is 160 (on an airstrip up north while going down hill with a tail wind). It has stock gearing. I would never do it again the bike was screaming. Besides who wants to go that fast on a dirtbike.
Yeah the seat is not that comfortable but you do get used to it. Yeah the ninja might be faster (well pretty much every bike..... not sure on the 125s) but it is more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.
DRZ 400sm = Super fun bike that dose not get noticed by law officers. I have one, it is great I have more fun with it than over powered sport bikes. 120 on the highway is no big deal yeah the wind gets you but you get used to it. Also a bonus is you can literally go anywhere with it.
hey man
I ride a dual sport / sm (drz400sm) I ride pretty much all year round here is what I am running for gear
Helmet - TLD air with goggles mainly I also have a Fly Trekker (high vis) I really like the Icon variant but if fit my head funny

So I was in need of a rear tire, this led me to do some research. Turns out a 160/60/17 fits in the back end of a DRZ. Upon finding this out I had the tire I had in my garage fitted up to my wheel. No mushrooming and tonnes of room. here is a video that I found on youtube that lets you see what...
hey I have a DRZ SM and I am going to be needing a rear tire at some point. I was wondering if anybody has crammed a 160 into theirs? I have one in my garage that I took off another bike and if I can use it I would like to rather than buying another tire.
anybody feel like riding Saturday morning?? say we meet for coffee/breakfast then go rip around the Milton area?? (I am riding a motard so fast is not an option but windy roads are)
sounds like I missed a good ride I will have to make the next one for sure provided im not working. Finally took my wife out today for the first time looks like I'm getting a bigger bike next year maybe an FZ8 or a CB1000. The sumo doesn't like having two riders lol. So I have a question I have...
hey so I am in for the ride. My only issue is I have a small *** tank (only gets me about 140ish before I have to switch to reserve) how many k before the first fuel stop
on a side note when the hell did they start censoring the ****ing forum
I am planing on doing the Supermoto Ontario circuit (well a couple of races at leist). I am guessing on the gearing based on my DRZ sm. I was mainly going on the assumption that since I am putting on 17" supermoto wheels I should probably loose some teeth on the sprocket. If I was just running...
