I don't split lanes. too dangerous with the way people drive here.
Filtering through stopped traffic on the other hand.... I do it all the time. Never had a problem. While i normally don't do it if there is a cop right in front of me or behind me, I've inadvertantly done it in front of them...
Clearly i didn't spend my honeymoon doing laps of a little island. This being the general motorcycle discussion forum of a motorcycle messageboard, i didn't think that rest of my vacation was very relevent.
;)
There was an 18 year old girl that lived in North York that was found like a month ago north of the city in a ditch on the side of a road. It was all over the news in July.

Back.. i was only in Oahu. But I've been before and spent time on Maui and The Big Island in addition to Oahu.
When i got there i rented one of those big 300cc scooters for us to get around. It was a SYM RV 300. It was fun to ride and so damn comfortable. Way better than I expected. I ended up...
I hired Redline to represent me.
Expensive... not sure if it saved me any money in the end, or if the fact that I've got a baby on the way was what really helped. BUT, they were great to deal with and they defintely did everything they could to find a way to get it dropped. Just too much...
I've been there before. Probably done about 7 laps of the island. Closer to an hour and a half to 2 hours to get around depending on the the traffic.
I'd still rather ride the drive a car though, and the scenery is hella better then Ontario ;)
Off to Hawaii tomorrow for my honeymoon. Just reserved a Ducati Monster for Wednesday of next week. Looking forward to ripping around Oahu for the day! :D
Just over a year later it's finally over and done with!
It took 11 months for "my friend" to get the all of the disclosure. Was hoping it would take longer, but once that dashboard cam video and audio came in, all hopes of a charter motion were out the window. Still could have been attempted...
I'll forgot about the kill switch a few times. Once it took me a good 5+ hours to figure it out. I left my bike somewhere because i thought it was toast and i was going to get it towed the next day. Hours later I'm at home and bam.. "KILL SWITCH" pops into my head. Headed back and sure enough...
I'm sure the stats on cars accidents are somewhat similar. The majority of people use their personal vehicles most on short trips and running errands. ;)
