I recall reading somewhere that Motorcycle sales have been down in the US since 2008. Coincidentally, that was also when they were hit by a massive recession that they are still hurting from. ;)
even if you were to get a ticket in Quebec, not sure if they even have an agreement with Ontario that would stop you from being able to renew your license.
I got a large speeding ticket in 2005 in quebec. I've renewed my license twice since then no problem. The ticket also has never appeared...
I went to Champion Cycle a few weeks ago. Cheaper than some places I found, but more expensive then others. Cost me $100 for a VFR800. They were super fast, friendly and did a great job. No scratches on the rim either. Don't know if they prices change depending on the bike. I would imagine they do..
They don't need to. They can use their eyes to see the emergency vehicles and their flashing lights. If they are not within eyesight just yet, they can hopefully use their brains to figure out why all of the cars around them are stopping and pulling over to the side.
Lanikai beach is a must. Rent a surf board or kayak and paddle out to the little islands a few hundred meters off shore.
Do a shark cage dive in the north shore. Costs about $100 and well worth the money for the experience. Not many people get the opportunity to see sharks, let alone up close...
This is the place where I was going to rent the Ducati. Doesn't look like they rent it anymore, but they do have some triumphs, 600 honda CBR's.

Do yourself a favor and hit up Lanikai beach. Best beach on the island. Way less crowded than the...
If you look at similar posts online where people are asking about 250 kawi's or Honda's, the only "negative" has to do with the power output of a 250 engine. You won't see complaints regarding reliability, parts availability, engines dying etc...
That says something right there.
I called Markham Outdoor Power. $170ish PLUS HST. F*ck that. They also quoted me $500 for the tires.
I ended up taking them to Champion Cycle last weekend. $100 for both with the rims on the bike. Didn't get the dudes name but he was super fast and not a scratch on the rims.
Happens to everyone now and then.
I almost dropped my bike today. Pulled it in front of my truck. Went to lean it onto the stand and low and behold, I forgot to put it down. Bike got is heavy and got away from me for a split second. I saved it from falling but the left mirror pressed against...
Shouldn't cost $600. It's $300ish for a new OEM fairing. Labor is probably 20 minutes. Assuming you have no idea what you're doing, you could probably do it yourself in under an hour.
I've done hwy 7 before. Very nice drive. Lots of great twisties not far from the highway along the way.
I might actually ride up next weekend, well the following monday. Got a few days off work.
see this thread...
Re: The INJURIES I survived while riding a bike
I once did a 6 hour ride on my old 250 ninja. I'm 6'2". My knees and my butt were really sore after. No scars thankfully. ;)
I actually kind of think that is very be plausible. It's covered so they take it off to see what's underneath, find that it's a 250 and don't bother taking it. Just not worth enough to for thieves to bother with them. Parts are too cheap to make the trouble of parting it out worthwhile and there...
