I went to Indy in 2010 and it was awesome. The facility is huge and can easily accommodate the number of fans. I found the city and people to be laid back and friendly. Cheap restaurants and a great deal on a nice hotel. I was at Laguna Seca last year and although it was a great trip there were...
I'd have to agree with Caboose. Any sport touring tire will be fine and provide longevity. I had Michelin Pilot Roads on my bike and they were great. When I say they were "great" I mean that they didn't tend to square off and provided high km. In terms of people's preference for street tire what...
I'm tall and fit comfortably on my KTM Superduke. On the highway, I'm in the wind (of course) but I've been blasted by the wind in one way or another on each bike I've owned. I wear earplugs, as wind noise bothers me more than the wind itself. I sometimes cruise with traffic, and sometimes...
Thank you very much for the link! I've looked for this movie everywhere and couldn't find it. I just happened to stumble upon it in this forum. Greatly appreciated!
I used to use a regular bag from MEC. It did the trick but was a bit of a pain putting on when geared up and when it was full the back of my helmet would hit it when on my bike. I now use a backpack from Kriega. It wasn't cheap and it's still just a backpack but the little differences it offers...
This was my first time taking my bike to the track. I was in the beginner group and had an awesome time. There were a few questionable passes, although it being my first time at the track I don't really have anything to compare it to. None of the passes made me feel nervous, although there...
It's canceled due to weather. Bittersweet. I was really looking forward to taking my bike to the track so it's a disappointment. Although if the weather is lousy then I'm happy to have a chance at nice weather next weekend. But who knows? it could end up being beautiful tomorrow and ***** next...
I'm excited about attending my first track day Oct 1st at TMP. Not too excited about the forecast. Just wondering if anyone can explain the policy on poor weather? If I've signed up in advance am I out my money whether or not it pours rain? Do we ride rain or shine? Any sort of refunds or...
Here is my 1985 Kawasaki Gpz900. I also it's successor the ZX11. The ZX11 is probably my favourite of all time. The Gpz is no slouch though. One of my main beefs with it is its tendency to overheat.
