    200 000 liability question

In my case the jump from $200K to $1Mill to $2Mill was such a small cost that I'd have to be really broke or dumb to consider going with $200K. Even the most minor accident can easily run up $200K in expenses. So, to answer your original question, I'm sure if you pushed you can get a quote on...

Decisions & Advice Needed! Ductai 848 VS Triumph 675R

I have a Daytona and my buddy has an 848. Both are great bikes and both have a little more "prestige" than your average Honda/Suzuki/etc. My guess is that both bikes will far exceed your riding talent (hopefully not your riding safety) and you will rarely be able to experience the...

    At fault accident!!

The police wrote up a report... 1) Did they get the name/address of your insurance company? If so, maybe a copy was sent to them 2) Did you get charged with anything? Sometimes a rear end collision gets a charge of following too close. If so, this is on your record and is a clear indication...

Let me get this straight... you LOVE the bike? :lmao: Nice video... great cinematography... A pal has a red 848 EVO and I love riding with him and hearing the bike. Look forward to more of your clips. You do owe it to yourself to do a test on the Triumph Daytona...

    Selling on a payment plan

If your boyfriend is getting a good price for the bike and doesn't mind storing it until paid in full then it may not be a bad deal. Just a few things to keep in mind: - Ensure everyone knows the details of how much needs to be paid weekly/monthly and when the total amount is due. And.. most...

worried about rear tire - opinions please

Get a new rear tire now... will cost you a lot more if anything happens. No idea why your tire wore out so quickly. I got over 10K on mine before replacing it. Replaced with Pirelli Angel ST's and already have over 10K and still going strong.

    red diplo plates?

Never seen a diplomatic plate on a Motorcycle and given the number of diplomats in Ottawa I assume if they existed I'd have seen one by now. I guess that's a good thing, given the way most diplomats drive in Ottawa it would be pretty scary to seem them riding a bike.

Cash Settlement Amount for a "Write-Off"

While I feel you pain I'm guessing the insurance company is concerned that perhaps you'll take your time fixing the bike and maybe make another claim (theft perhaps) prior to it being fixed. Normally accident repairs are done by a shop giving the insurance company a warm fuzzy feeling that...

    Best bikes to invest in?

Many have tried and failed to make money doing something like this... Ignore the fact that you have to pay taxes (unless you are some how exempt) which will most likely eat away at any future profits... The reality is that next spring the bikes will be considered 1 year older.. (ie, a 2008 is...

Here's what happens when you cut off a motorcycle

Wonder how many cagers read the article and all they remember is her getting flipped off by a rider? I had a cager lean out his window at a stop light and apologize to me for cutting me off (he did). While I appreciated the apology I'd rather he just have been paying attention. With a bit...

Is 30,000km on a sport bike too high?

All mileage should do is affect the sale price.... that being said, there are enought bikes sitting around with less than 10K on the odometer that people think that's the norm and when they are shopping are looking for that kind of mileage. I've got 24K on my Daytona and I know some people...

Where to get motorcycle key cut?

Buy a blank from your dealer and have Crappy Tire cut it. The only thing is that Crappy Tire won't guarantee it. Hard to screw up the cut. They did mine for free... works great.

Need help with finding tinted visor

This link will bring you to the list of Joe Rocket dealers. They should be able to help http://www.joerocketcanada.com/dealers/ As far as eBay, be careful and make sure you know what you are buying. Too many eBay sales are aftermarket items and not made by the original manufacturer.

    Dealers and deposits

Not sure I understand your question. Normally a deposit is taken once you have agreed on a price. The deposit then holds the bike until you pay in full or attempt to get financing or insurance. I don't know of any seller who will accept a deposit and then continue to haggle over the price...
