I did my M1X through CMA (closer to home)
ANy course is worth it, they will teach you / help you brush up on any skills you might not know/forgotten
look at it as an investment in your personal safety
spend the $$ and never look back
I'm 6'6 and the Honda Varadero felt good, but i want a cruiser, and in your case it's 1000cc
if you get a cruiser you can get the forward control kits for most bikes and that puts the shifter & rear brake 3-5" forward providing additional leg room...
also a more comfortable riding position.
it's like wearing a seatbelt...
some do, some don't...
if it's an adult, it's their own skin...
Children/kids different story and force proper gear(jeans/jacket) at least...
Cheaper - yes
but you risk getting burned at the border... if you're hit with duty/taxes it works out the same...
i've heard both stories, some get them across with no fees, others have to pay...
personally i buy my tires at costco...
tire price is about the same like everywhere else, except...
thats crap... if they want to sell you the bike, they'll take the CC
lots of places are becoming very arrogant, bullying people around...
will they take $20 up for you getting a certified cheque? no, then why would you have to take the hit for the cc
so you have to pay to spend your money...
So you go there and they tell you your exhaust is too loud... and take your plate number and issue you a warning...
are you really gonna go and change your exhaust?
odds are most people won't... the next time they get pulled over they will check to see if you have changed your exhaust...
if...
Just checked my License... (got it in the mail about 1 month ago...)
it has a no magnetic strip, but does have a scanable barcode...
never even noticed the no magnetic strip till this thread...
$$ talks... B.S. Walks
Cash in Hand means a lot
as for them willing to lower the price...
either they lower it and make some $$ or keep it where it is and make $0 from you..
they need to sell more then you need to buy...
Buyers Fault...
he should have asked...
it's like getting pulled over by the cops...
you don't tell them all the wrong things you've done... just answer to what he asks, nothing more...
guy had the time to check it out before handing over the $$, lesson learned hopefully
