Anyone heading to GBM for tomorrows evening TD?

I had a great time at GBM tonight, a great bunch including some friendly SOAR guys & it was nice to see Will Hornblower blasting around as well. Weather was a little windy but otherwise perfect.

Anyone heading to GBM for tomorrows evening TD?

I'm booked & paid & hoping the thunderstorms don't materialize. I'm excited to try out the new (to me) bike, I've never had suspension set up for my bodyweight etc before. Smudger

New Bike considering some track days.

I would definitely go the Uhaul bike trailer route at first - inexpensive (maybe $30 including taxes & insurance) & with a nice big, low ramp making one man load/unload a complete doddle. I used U Haul for my first year of track days then bought a little fold up trailer last year. As for road...

    Bell Helmets - how good?

Not sure which area to post this in so as I only ride on the track I thought I'd put it in here. Does anyone have experience of using the newer Bell helmets namely the Bell Star ($650) or the Bell Qualifier DX ($350)? The Star is DOT & SNELL approved while the Qualifier DX is DOT & ECE...

When you run off the black stuff onto the green stuff don't use your front brake to try & stop.

Another tire thread, yes, I know.........

Hey Tyler, you did & I appreciate the advice but I'm still hesitant on the warmers, its not even the $$$, I'm just a little worried I wouldn't be keeping the heat in the tire - I did speak to "someone else" who told me I wouldn't need warmers on those tires. I should perhaps have clarified that...

Another tire thread, yes, I know.........

I have been riding track for 2 seasons now on my 26 year old ZX7 using OEM sized Dunlop Q3 tires & they work fine for me, as far as I know anyways as they are all I have experience with. The front let go on a cold, wet, windy day at TMP in May last year but apart from that I have had no issues...
