Thnak you John Bickle, for your ''Thankless job''

You just made it all worth it! Merci! 99% of you guys and girls are great,,the 1%'ers make it a bit stressfull at times,,but for next year the friends and family parking package is not available!:hello1: Talked with the track owner and access to the paddock will be restricted, making everyone's...

    Electricity at GBM ?

I think it was 11ish,, but it could be 10,, The track has complete control of the gate so there is nothing I can do there,

    Electricity at GBM ?

As Caboose said you won't get any where close to that. Currently I have limited space. With the layout of Grand Bend and making a hot pit ,,EVERYTHING as you are use to will be changed. And parking is placement not where you like to be. So the current pro's in CSBK standings will get priority...

Where to buy brake lever guards for RACE?

I would say no as I have never seen anybody ever use them, I have seen every style of bike mount a traditional road racing brake guard.. As have the tech officials at both RACE and SOAR. So I'm going to suggest you pursue a more traditional solution so the dirt bike solution isn't wasting your time.

Where to buy brake lever guards for RACE?

You would need the Brake Guard that clamps over the bar. But you have no room to move the throtle up, So you would have to go to the Dion device,, but I'll bet you have no room up top for it either. Drilling the bar out is not worth the effort. We have bars you could use for $20. They are...

    2017 Mopar CSBK Competitor Update

How do you even compare the 80's to now? I bought a brand new RD 350LC for $1500,, put a new set of tires on every year whether I needed them or not. You could practice every Friday at Sanair for $50 for the year. I never had to take a school to get a license,, just showed up. The lower costs...

    2017 Mopar CSBK Competitor Update

Actually,, if they follow the FIM spec it will be a little harder then any light. I sourced about $500 worth of lights from around the world and they didn't meet the specs.Lots of bicycle lights.[anybody need a bicycle light?] So if they enforce the 15 degree rule and the luminosity it will take...

    Bell Helmets - how good?

I ran one for years,, yes they are bit noiser over my Shoei. But with ear plugs anyway it was fine. Fit was like the old Shoei. Shoei changed their shells and I found the small was too close to the face for my liking. The Bell was okay,, too much air flow I don't like,, thought it was just...

looking for Alien Moto racing suit

Well, I do know there is only one base type material that could handle the forces exerted on it. That is Kevlar, which it says a Dupont Kevlar Fabric. Every fabric part is Kevlar reinforced. So we can say it's Kevlar, These suits I saw and raced against were Kevlar. The technology is there. Fact...

looking for Alien Moto racing suit

Have seen these years ago at Daytona worn by a GP rider from Europe. Never really took off. Mostly ,,,leather works. everything else grabs. So it may wear better but if it causes you to tumble over sliding, that's not good. You don't see any world class riders wearing them ,,and one would think...

    Buying a canopy..

My Canopy is up about 100+ days a year. So I have some mileage with pop ups. If you buy cheap understand when to surrender and take it down. If you ride at Grand Bend or TMP those tracks are canopy destroyers. So watch the wind. I bought a new one last year from Outlettags ,heavier frame and...

    lessons learned the hard way

You watch a Moto America Race or any top venue,,all you will see is about every 5 minutes, someone manually checking for heat under the warmer. Get a system, use what you can, and make it habit,, but understand you are now on the path to developing OCD. Ask me how I know?

    Double header at Shubie ???

Yup pretty much how this sport works. And after 37 years you'll get use to it. Only three people working to get you racing in Ontario,, and all of them are over worked and under paid. So it's easy to lay judgement until one ventures down the road of running stuff. And as I have,,, I'll shake...

    Double header at Shubie ???

It actually was introduced in 2015, it was in fact a rule in 2016,, except it has to be available and meet FIM rules, So it was never pushed on riders and was more of a phaseing in thing. But if you have ever seen them in place, like Moto America,, you can't help but respect the rule. Especially...

    lessons learned the hard way

All warmers fail. As soon as you plug ANY warmer in, it starts to break down. So if you warmers are over or around the 2-3 year mark,, their reliability will start to be questionable. Warmers do not last for ever. And now that we are demanding more heat that will put more pressure on the wire...
