What do you use on your leather suit?

No I use the 4 way for quick stuff and Aussie Conditioner for a good conditioning. No it will not change the finish. Only silicone or stuff not meant for leather longevity will change the finish.

poll: best used racer w similar upgrades - cbr250 or ninja 250

Box stock Ninja 250 with 2 year old tires that came on the bike, 2:38 inj yellow group at Bogie. Top speed of 173 KPH in stock trim. Track Body work only. Find the CBR great off the corner but runs out of steam very fast. The engine brake is much greater then the Ninja. Neither bike has a...

    Is this an illegal overtake?

Why are more and more organizations mandating brake guards? Is that not allowing contact? You have two complete answers to this question. Purest, ,,contact is not allowed and respect at speed is paramount. New Era-- you have maybe a handful of paid rides, and nobody see's the guys in 5th. So...

What do you use on your leather suit?

Anything with silicone is not good,Pledge does not do anything for the leather it just polishes the surface and seals the pours of the leather. Oils of any kind just get wicked up. So the leather will just keep absorbing it as it is so easily absorbed. Anything with a vasiline texture and a few...

Looking for opinions on Bickle warmers from China

Yup,, It's resistance wire! Less resistance , less heat. You'll probably see in around 60 maybe 70 Celcius hopefully,,correct me if I'm wrong.650 is the lowest I have seen. Our good stuff is just over 900Watts and the CHinese is 1300ish. Most warmers made in China which is nearly everything...

    Spidi Custom Suits

I would not waste my money on Kangaroo either ,unless it was a substantial deal,, too risky. If you're a Moto GP rider then fine,, the rest of us get the not so good kangaroo hide which is way worse then cow.

    track suit shopping

It all depends on the suit and whether it's an overnight job or I have a few hours (it's that time of year) But on average $75+ to remove the zipper and reinstal it and taper the sleeve to the original size. Things that can affect the cost are liner types and what type of stuff they put on the...

    track suit shopping

Not so easy. first figure if the sleeve is long below the elbow or about the elbow. Or does you armour fit right or hang below the elbow. When you do get it "Hemmed" it has to be fit. Otherwise the sleeve will slide up past your elbow in a crash and you do not want to see that. So the zipper is...

If you can't get the BP on at all,,,,,it's too small. It won't stretch that much unless you soak it and wear it for a week and even then that will be questionable.

    track suit shopping

Here's a plan,, oversize your back protector. Maybe add a smaller one under or over it. Get the suit on ,you can even dampen it,,just a bit,, don't soak it as you will have to wait until it dries to take it off. Wear the suit as long as you can or until it is dry. Take the extra back protector...

    track suit shopping

When you bend over the back part will go away,, if you get rid of the excess and then climb on your bike,, you will get a wedgey that will hurt! Go sit on a bike,,, You can not have a suit that fits on and off the bike. Any good fitting suit has a baggy bum when you stand up.

You can also wear the shorts or add padding into the legs. Shorts are easiest and some are very reasonable. In the last ten years or so,, seems a lot of guys damaging their sternums. If you have ever hurt it ,, it's a tough injury. Nickey Hayden was one of the first to wear and push them. I'll...

When you buy off the rack,, that's the downfall. It would be nice if they had 50-51-52. Sometimes you can take the legs in. Some suits you can take it out between the knee and hip. But what does the suit cost and what would alterations cost and what is worth to have the suit "just not right"...

well , one you should be able to breath comfortable. You should be able to squat and sit on your heals. Now if you can't do that with leathers off then you should be able to get the same mobilty you can in street cloths. Now you are not going on 20 K run with the suit so don't get hung up on...
