Looks like Barrie Powerhouse is doing a demo day today. Checking it out.

That's so odd. My 250 is doing these exact same things right now. It's at 20k though, and had a valve adjust in September. I've been told (ninjette tech forums) that the squeak/grind is due to over-torquing the front wheel bolts (had tires changed recently) but not sure about the rattle yet...

Despite the rain, the demo day went forward. They did 4 rides, and I managed to get into 3 of them. GSXR-1000 (mind blowing), TU250X (fun), V-Strom 650 (love it!)

It's a bit rainy right now. Could mean either cancelled rides or unrestricted access to anything you want if you show up in rain gear :) The former is more likely.

Pretty miserable. Last year we had a few days in the winter that the bike could come out, this year sucks :)

It wasn't too cold, I think we were dressed properly for it. Three of us showed up, and we did a short Wasaga trip. The only eventful thing was stopping to help some poor couple who hit a deer. They were fine, but looked pretty shaken up.

That was a great ride. Booya, what roads were we on there? I'd like to do some... research... this weekend ;)

Odd that you mentioned it, I just watched it yesterday. Incredible video. It should be required viewing for anyone with sport/sport tour style bike!

I love the look of this one, but my dream bike is an FZ1. Ugly is relative I guess :)

I'm tryin' man! I brought up the idea of a Muskoka ride. I usually head from Barrie down to Vaughn, it's not a bad trip on a Saturday/Sunday morning.

How's your arm now? And I'll be heading down tomorrow, assuming the weather doesn't go crazy again.

I'll try to make this one as well. I've never been to Burlington (I live in Barrie), should be an interesting trip.

Re: Vaughan Ninja 250/CBR 125 Sunday Meets Great ride today, looking forward to a few more this summer. Some of those corners were a bit hairy, but I think our "ride hazard of the day" goes to that bastard porcupine who despite being dodged by the leaders, tried to come back for a few of us...
