It's a new gen ninja 250 with the stock IRC tires. Very easy to tell from the tiny exhaust.

Great turnout tonight. I noticed Luc forgot to take pics ;)

I spent most of the day leading around another KLR rider through Williams to show him how to ride sand and hills. We also hit RJ's hare scramble trail and it successfully removed the desire for doing more single track from him. Great success. ;)

This x1000. My KLR 650 has been the most fun I've had on 2 wheels. If you have the money, go take one of the off-road riding courses (CMTS or Trail-tours) and see if you like it.

I did tons of single track in Williams Tract on the KLR with Avon Gripsters (80/20 tires). It's fun to do once in a while, but you should go someplace with lots of long flowing trails of double track (hopefully with some elevation changes). The KLR shines in this type of environment, and...

I'd love to go. I wonder if they have pricing excluding the camping portion. I live about 30 min away, so there's no problem riding back and forth.
