goin to test out the helmet w/o the cheekpads and see if the hurting head stops... the shoei cheekpad it came in was 35mm and they also come in 31mm...im debating saving the $100 (cost + shipping + tax) approx and putting it to a new helmet though... too bad ive gotten attached to the graphics...
ok so I tested out Macdoc's recommendation...took out the really really fat cheekpads and now the helmet it super loose lol. im gonna try and see if ordering thinner cheekpads might help cuz now even the XS is really loose LOL
I dont know anyone that I can give/sell it to and if I tried to sell it I wouldnt get close to what I paid for realistically... I know I will probably have to purchase it but right now I dont have another 500+ to go on a helmet...and my other one is way too loose lol
purchase date was around June 13, 2011....then I bought the bike from them end of june roughly? It was at Kahuna. Person that helped me was really great I had an RF-1000 on for a good 30 min? and it was super painful. tried the qwest for about 10 minutes and it felt good. snug but not tight. and...
thanks for the suggestion!! its weird but the forehead doesnt hurt...just the top/side of my head? might be clenching jaw and my cheeks do look like chipmunks when I have the helmet on lol...will try the suggestions and will try and find something thatll fit in my XS to compress
I have a low ponytail so the ponytail starts at the base of the helmet I think?
do you know waht thats called? I can try and see if they have it and if it will help?
Its weird but I fall in between small and medium in tape measurement but when I tried on a medium it was super loose.. Even the small you could move the helmet and my head wouldnt go... And it also felt loose/ not snug so i went XS cuz it was snug and comfy... Tried the 30 min test but pain only...
LOL as much as id like to 1...my head shape does not look good shaved... 2... Im a girl, despite not being too girly i still enjoy lookin like one now and then lol
I bought it a month back but im a newb (that and I had the old helmet) I only noticed the pain recently as Ive started riding longer? before my rides were 40 min or less before taking a "break"? I guess I didnt feel it then?
I know this sounds bad but at lights (long ones on main roads) on the...
I tried the RF and found that pressed on my head too much... I have the Qwest which for the first 45 minutes (including the 30 min I had it on in store) was much more comfy on my round head LOL.
Maybe its what Prince was sayin with heat expanding my head? It was really painful coming home today...
Hi Guys,
Got an XS Shoei which fits snug/well....up till you hit the 45-60 minute mark riding...then it just feels like my head is slowly getting crushed
Does anyone else have a problem when your helmet feels TIGHTER after some time riding?
Does it mean I should get a looser helmet? I tried the...
again sorry if its a newb question but when you plot it out do you use google maps's point A B and C then copy the link to gpsvisualizer?
Is there any way to add waypoints straight on gpsvisualizer or just add a bunch of points on google maps then import?
thanks will try this! now its just a matter of deciding between a "regular" garmin vs a "motorcycle" friendly nuvi 550...(cant afford the zumos)...do you guys have a zumo or 550 or a regular gps on the bike?
I have parallels 6 and have a virtualbox but its a bit of a pain and it also slows down my computer :S I will try the basecamp hopefully itll work...
sorry if it seems like a dumb question but what do you mean supply the maps? would google maps do or I have to purchase separately?
Hi Guys,
Ive tried looking and all I've found are outdated posts or posts that use PC specific programs only. I checked mapsource but it says for PC only and I checked Tyre but it also says PC software and I have a macbook pro...the posts also seem to have just died out without a specific...

http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/4/Auto/Powersports/ComfortConvenience/PRD~0279360P/Sport%252BBike%252BStand.jsp?locale=en
is that its not as good as the ones you can pick up at the local bike shops?
