Fork still leaking after changing oil and fork seal

Reminds me of the time I ran with leaky forks for 1.5 months (friend borrowed stands). Fortunately when I disassembled them I realized I installed the oil seals were upside down

    GoPro mount lacations

Think you spelt it wrong; it's lactations. Whatever plastics you mount it to make sure they're secure otherwise your video will be nothing but wavy vibrations or a lot of jitter. I'm biased towards helmet mounts because if you're in the street the action isn't always where the camera is...

    M2exit and insurance

I believe you have 10 days within which you can cancel any new insurance policy. Otherwise, assuming you have your car with them, they will be fine with canceling your policy (like when I went away for work for 2 months). If you're going to do the 10 days or less thing and need an excuse, just...

I get the feeling you put baloney in the CD player growing up.

    Group street ride compilations

There is always a weekend ride and typically 1-2 randomly during the week depending on when people are available. I'm leading a ~2.5h ride around London this weekend if you'd like to come out with a small group of us. I'll PM you the details. Lol yea... about that. It's my user name on a few...

    Riding in the rain

Snow is doable, but interesting. Pulled my groin recovering in the snow once. Mic. is in a great spot, don't hear your breathing at all, but compared to other ?vlogers? the audio lacks texture? A little wind and street noise might be nice. Although, unless I'm taking it for granted, I think...

    Group street ride compilations

Quite the twist ending from what I had expected. Regardless, this is still constructive feedback. Didn't realize others on this site had been reported (other than that kid who has a dedicated RFDs thread for treating city traffic like a video game); but like you [Brian P] suggested, it...

    Group street ride compilations

Haha, this is funny. Let me clear the air. Please don't interpret small movie snipets from 40h+ of riding as continous everyday events.....my videos would look far different if that were the case. There was construction further down that street, we weren't the only ones doing u-turns. Edit: oh...

    Group street ride compilations

Started riding with a group a while ago and am finally getting some use out of my gopro. Had a lot of fun making these videos but would love some feedback..... I can only review them so many times before every scene begins to look the same to me. Would like some criticism for when I make the...

    06 GSXR 1K surging

A gas filter problem would be noticeable in all gears, so I'd disregard that. Hopefully someone can suggest something else.

Mens + Womens Icon Field Armor Stryker Series Vest Small-Medium ($80 each)

SOLD! Size: S-M Purchased these vests last year but only used them 3-4 times. The reason they went into storage so quickly was because I bought independent back protectors a month later on clearance and it was too late to return the vests. Both the vests are in great shape; if you saw them...

fairing rattle - is there a simple fix?

+1 Depending on the windshield you can put wide/thin rubber washers between your fairing/shield. Nylon will work as well.

For DIY tire changers, do you reuse your balancing weights?

Bahaha. I'm afraid to reply to this thread because I don't want the admins to put me in a time out...:happy1:

For DIY tire changers, do you reuse your balancing weights?

+1 for being that one bit more environmentally friendly Perhaps you could look into getting a strip of the '3M VHB' adhesive used on gopro mounts. Best part is that people have sucess re-using them in the future (apply lots of heat to remove) so you can get 2+ uses out of them

Can anyone recommend a good powdercoater?

Since you cant reuse your valve stems after powder-coating your rims (ok, you can, but they are a pain to pull and easier to replace) may I recommend some angled valve stems? Such as these or these. Makes checking tire pressure and refilling much easier without having to deal with your rotors...

Chinese Imitation Race Levers - Warning

better bend then snap and render un-reuseable until replacement ....mawhaha this is where I love doing proper research. You just need to find the right manufacturer, even if they look like a knock-off you can still pay a little more in that 'realm' for quality. Here's a link to another forums...

For DIY tire changers, do you reuse your balancing weights?

I'm making an assumption here, so forgive me if I'm wrong: you're asking this question because you're new to changing your own tires, which is great, but you might stumble upon the same thing I did after not having balancing weights for a while. I'll vouch that for street use, and others might...
